It was a few days after graduation. Amber just knew it was going to be another one of those long, hot, humid, sticky, sweaty summers. The kind of summers where pool parties were the norm rather than the exception and drinking and fooling around was part of the fun. Girls in bikinis and swimsuits and guys in their trunks as they got drunk and got naked and fooled around in a way that would have put her uptight Catholic mother Louise in a coma if she’d seen even half of what was going on. But that was the crowd, they just didn’t care. The sorority girls and the frat boys lived by their own rules.

Looking around she could see that it wasn't the biggest party that night. There were probably some frat parties somewhere else having all-nighters with kegs of beer and plenty of spirits
