Carter was sitting in his huge, luxurious office with a glass of wine in one of his hands. He was lost in deep thoughts, with tears continuously dripping down his cheeks. His feet continuously moved his big, leather, revolving chair on either side, very gently. They had shiny black leather shoes on them, which sparkled on the expensive wood flooring of his office. He wore a black Armani suit with a red tie on a white shirt inside.

Just thirty years of age, he surely was a very handsome man and had a striking personality. There was no way a girl could pass by without noticing him and the attractiveness he had. He was sexually alluring and had a rich father with businesses all over the world.

He just sat there, eyes closed, sipping his wine and suddenly, when he thought he couldn’t take it anymore, he lit a cigarette and picked up his phone from his desk and opened the pictures of his ex-wife, whom he had given a divorce just a month ago. He kept looking at the pictures one by one with teary eyes and a smiling face.

The pictures of them together were hurting him the most, where she was kissing his cheek with love. He was constantly thinking if he really should have divorced her or not, with guilt and her memories scattered all over his thoughts. He opened her text messages in which she was constantly apologizing to him and asking for another chance to be the woman he had wanted her to be, in which she had failed in the six months of their marriage.
