About this ebook
Is Self Care/Compassion dead? Does it even exist? I thought that! I was a no nonsense, crack walnuts on your biceps kind of girl. Hey, I'm a female, I can multitask! That's all fine until one day your world crashes down like mine did.
Kristin Neff, Ph.D., says that it's time to "stop beating yourself up and leave insecurity behind." I totally agree with her on this. When did you last take time for yourself?
If you are with me on that, then you cannot afford to miss this Step by Step Guide to Self Compassion. Take back your life one step at a time. Empower yourself to find balance and purpose in your relationships, work, and life. Be your own best friend once again.
From a huge personal trauma, years of personal experience, as well as taking the message of the importance of mental health to great men and women, I've come to understand that when you care deeply for yourself, you naturally begin to care for others.
How is this guide different to every other Self help book out there?
Ok let's break this down. First of all: Size. This is an expresso shot to wake up to just how important self compassion is. No waiting until the middle-to-end of the book for the real nuggets of wisdom.
Second this book tells Self Care/Compassion through the eyes of the 2 wolves' tale. This is subtle shift in the Self-Help Genre and speaks to your subconscious, long term memory.
It uses a simple, easy and accessible formula: story. Fables and stories can easily be remembered. Shopping lists cannot! We are all looking for something meaningful to hold onto in all of the noise. This guide is designed to be read again and again, and then applied to all facets of modern life.
Talk the talk and walk the walk in the steps of the White Wolf. Become the wolf you always were meant to be.

A bit about me I am 35 years old. I was originally a teacher so I have always been interested in learning and helping others. I have been actively working to educate men and women in the importance of mental health. What started me in this area was being given a second chance at life. As Brendon Burchard writes this was my “Golden ticket.” In my 20’s I survived a tragic traffic accident. My beautiful Husky Malamute gave his life to save mine and my family. My young son and husband were saved when my dog jumped on them to cover them and ultimately save their lives at the cost of his own. It was after this tragic accident and his sacrifice that I really appreciated that my true purpose was to help others who are suffering. I guess I have learned mental health the hard way from my own experiences with TBI and PTSD

The White Wolf's Way - Step by Step Guide to Self Compassion - Kate Summers
Who is Kate Summers?
––––––––
Biography
Kate Summers is passionate about self help and self compassion. In her early twenties a tragic road accident changed her view on life. Until then self compassion was just one of those flighty things that people talked about. This all changed when self compassion was all that she had left to get through life. Given her second chance at life and her own experiences Kate has since been on a crusade to help men and women worldwide understand and prioritize their own mental health and make self care an everyday reality.
Kate has an infectious personality and is a deep breath of fresh air. Kate is also a sought after speaker. Her teachings are that real life is not what you see on social media. Life is tough, uncompromising and brutal. The more energy people waste by putting it into maintaining the lie that everything is fine the less energy they have for themselves and self compassion.
Her books provide a reality check to today’s merri-go-round lifestyle. They provide a unique and easily accessible view into self compassion. They are short books with definite calls for action. Kate’s philosophy is it is better to have no fluff and filler but rather an expresso shot of self care. The rest is up to you!

Introduction
What is Self-Compassion?
Compassion is the capacity to show empathy, love, and worry to individuals who are in trouble, and self-compassion is basically the capacity to coordinate these equivalent feelings within ourselves and acknowledge ourselves, especially when faced with disappointment. Generally, many compassionate individuals have a difficult time indicating compassion for themselves, perhaps out of a dread of engaging in self-pity or self-indulgence; however, a failure to acknowledge areas of shortcoming may prompt difficulty in accomplishing emotional prosperity. Studies show that women in the USA normally demonstrate less compassion to
