About this ebook

Immigrant or Expat? Jasmin is again facing a choice. While she keeps on dreaming about a different history of the world shown to her by the priestess Sarah, an Oracle, she has the opportunity to move in and live in an up-market residence. Invited into social circles, previously unavailable to her, she tries to heal the conditioning of the past. But her dreams continue to give no respite. Sarah and the characters from her night are enchanted by the story they view in magical mirrors: about Lilit and Ea - dealing with the consequences of their actions; about Akasha and the souls caught on the moon in an incarnation trap to serve other races …

A remarkable journey of a female artist between dimensions! Provoking to reflect what is real in our lives. Is there a destiny?

Iwona Gilarska, dancer, choreographer, teacher

A fascinating story about looking for a better future abroad. A combination of reality, spirituality, ancient wisdom and psychology makes this book a captivating read.

Dominika Miernik, Psychologist, Career Transformation Coach

This is a great story about real dreams and magical waking (lucid) life. I wholeheartedly encourage you to read it!

Marcin Dolecki, Metaphysician

A lot of us have an inner enemy that is a lack of self-confidence. An inner voice that is demanding, judgmental and blocks our plans. "The Oracle III" not only describes how the contemporary world is connected with the spiritual one and ancient mysteries but time travel and discovering Self in every dimension. Nobody else directs our fate but us. It's enough to believe to realize dreams. I warm-heartedly recommend this read!

Małgorzata Urszula Laska, Author of books for children and adults

Oracle III shows Joanna's great talent in showing the dance of Destiny in our lives. What an exciting journey, where nothing happens by chance. I look forward to Oracle IV.

Joanna M. Pilatowicz

Joanna M. Pilatowicz is an adult's coach, dancer, dance teacher, choreographer, author, abstract painter, and recording artist. She has lived in Poland, The Netherlands and currently resides in Germany.  Her master thesis, "Expansion Through Dance," explored the concept of using dance as a healing media, positively influencing not only body, but mind and soul as well.  Life in the Netherlands inspired her to write her first short stories, in Polish language, hiding some of observed reality behind the veil of fantasy. As she says, "Passing the borders of reality, I would say I am entering the world of fantasy, dreamland, and paranormal; however it is all still connected to everyday life." "I was always drawn by what's invisible to a human eye. At the same time, probably from a desire to understand my own Self and motives more, I started to write diaries which unfolded in an unexpected way. So I just followed it." "The supernatural creatures in my books and paranormal aspects present there are my own ways of expressing my reality, linking non - fiction with a feeling world as well as adding some sort of higher force to it." "It is my own metaphor for different roles from our so-called subpersonalities that perhaps want to share their story with us, in order for us to grow, explore, experience or have a more fulfilling life. I do my best to follow these inner voices, giving them space and grabbing their message." For more information about Joanna and her passions, please visit: www.ifnotdance.com

The Oracle III ~ A Chance - Joanna M. Pilatowicz

I dedicate this book to all those who refuse to give up on the bumpy path to self-realization ...

Chapter 1 ~ Exile from Paradise

Only the most loyal men and women stayed with Ea, the engineer of humankind. Their confused faces were etched with a question: what now? Their creator had been sentenced to exile by the most powerful entities, who were worshipped by everyone.

Write down what really happened, Ea turned to them. And pass it on to others secretly. Gather only those who want the truth and nothing but the truth. Now after you have tasted the fruit from the knowledge tree, you have to pretend in front of the gods that you still follow them. Otherwise, they will destroy you and start again to create the primary, unconscious version of you. It’s time for me to leave. Make sure the future generations won’t believe the lies.

Who will write history for the gods? Urukki was the one writing down the events of the night.

None of us. Those who fled will do that. Now, look at my shape. Ea continued. I’ll change. Saying that he turned into a snake and waited for Lilit shape-shifted into the same form, to wrap herself around his body. People around them could somehow hear: The snake is just a symbol. Two of us present two elements, female and male, harmonically relating one to another, providing a path for liberation to anyone who wants to explore their qualities.

Urukki kept noting all the information. The two snakes rose, embracing each other and at the top of their hands, wings spread. Lilit realized their protective meaning and a sense of harmony. Their heads faced each other. Creative Lilit decided that from her wings a thin column should emerge, supporting their serpent bodies. She felt satisfaction when Ea went on about the symbolism, wanting to tell people as much as possible:

This is the deepest secret, I’m giving you. Do not abuse its power. Badly used it will destroy. Drawing it wisely will forever link you with real strength, the highest essence of what is. His sublime snake eyes looked for a moment upwards. This force has many names and is both male and female. It encompasses all: harmony, peace, longevity, rebirth, love, joy, protection, vitality, just everything.

Not everybody understood what he meant, but Urukki kept writing what he said.

Don’t forget about the symbolism. Ea kept saying, "Ignite the strength upward, and you’ll be free. Raise up what is in you, and that's how you liberate yourself. By doing so, know that bad luck and misfortune will miss you. Call it Caduceus."

UNDER THE COVER OF night, people started to disperse and go back to their homes. Ea and Lilit changed their shapes again to go to the only secure place for them. The access to the underground of the Annunaki, was forbidden to them. Lilit, ready to fly, spread her wings, but Ea said, Wait. He closed his eyes and from his shoulder blades, dark, red wings began to emerge. Perhaps they were brown, she couldn’t see the exact colour because the darkness still reigned around. She admired the shape for a moment, realizing he was levitating. It crossed her mind that maybe he wanted to feel as free she was. Lilit smiled, concluding that now he was ready to fly away with the newly hatched creatures, seeking on this great planet their own place. In the halls of Annunaki and Reptilians Little Lilith was still trapped.

    Chapter 2 ~ A Chance and A Flat like a Dream

Jasmin opened her eyes slowly. She had spent the night in the family house of her aunt and was not in a hurry to get up. She knew she should, but who would complain about such dreams? Soon, the details of the dreams blurred and gave way to stress associated with her own situation. Confused, she sat with Konstancja at the kitchen table and just stared at the cup of tea, not  knowing what to do. Go back or give Wilhelm's proposal a try? Laying in front of her eyes was the date: Wednesday, October eleventh.

Try, the guy has some really good qualities. Maybe something good will come out of it. Her aunt, as always, was encouraging, but Jasmin wasn’t convinced. After all help was coming from a man from whom she sensed a romantic proposal. She didn’t want another offer like that. He had already called once today and now, in a few minutes, she must decide. Tired of her struggle, which so far had not led to anything good, she dialled his number. She intended to state the matter clearly, although recent experiences showed that this manoeuvre didn’t work either. Quite the opposite, it only encouraged a potential guy to further attempts. It seemed to her, however, that Wilhelm was now controlling his aspirations to pick her up, but again, she didn’t trust that. Sooner or later he will try again, she judged. For now, he wanted to help. And that was important.

To make you feel more comfortable I just rented a room in the building where I live. You can stay there. Until I leave with my daughter. And then you can stay in our apartment upstairs for two weeks.

Jasmin felt pleasantly surprised to hear that.

The same day, late in the afternoon, Wilhelm walked with her to a small room which had a toilet and shower, and looked comfortable, like in a pretty decent hotel, pleasant on the visitor’s eye. She hadn't had the chance of such a place for quite a time now, so clean, as if just for her. The room had no connection with any other apartment. Just like a tiny studio. Full anonymity and peace.

She stayed alone there and didn’t know what to do overwhelmed with gratefulness but also terrified. She had just got another chance to stay in the Netherlands. She was slowly registering that. The enormity of the responsibility she felt, was growing in her stomach. Where is this pressure coming from? An inner force, maybe a voice was stating: You must try harder, cause you just got another chance. But now she didn’t want to move from there. Through the window was a yard, and there was such a peaceful green area, trees. She now realized it wasn’t just any kind of building. It was the Carnegie mansion. It was a real residence, as she read the inscription while following Wilhelm walking up the stairs covered with a red carpet. The building was located in the better neighbourhood of The Hague, right in front of the Peace Palace, surrounded by embassies and exclusive hotels, which she would explore in the next few days.

SMENDES'S SOUL HOVERED in space heading up to the tempting light, making him feel calm, lazy and accepting. Nothing seemed to matter anymore. Wait, was it acceptance or just indifference? This thought passed too. There were more souls around, heading in the same direction, getting closer to ...

Something tugged him, but since he had no body, he didn’t know how.

Come back here immediately. Sarah ordered, pointing with her hand the way back. Oh, how he did not want to go back. The light was so much more enticing. Oh, Sarah, he had just discovered he didn't need words to communicate with her, just thinking was sufficient enough.  I'll lose my chance for the afterlife.

It's an illusion! This is not true. The only thing you lose is the memory. Come with me, I'll give you what I promised.

Smendes hesitated but only a moment. Sarah won from the alluring light and pulled him back through the first mirror to their room. There, the others greeted him.

Oh, are those two like me? He asked looking at Demon and Genie.

Not exactly, Sarah replied, keep levitating here until you are born again. There is still time, at least one cycle of the Nile. Watch with us, through the mirror. A bright future that awaits you in some three thousand years. More or less, of course, who would count it exactly.

JASMIN TURNED ON THE computer in the morning, but unfortunately it not only crashed, but it began to howl shrilly every few seconds. Disconnected from its power it still made a lot of noise. She covered it with a blanket afraid that someone might be alarmed by the sound. It was her first night there and she didn't want to be perceived as an intruder that entered the building with a potential bomb. After choking the machine with the cover, the signal was a bit less intense. The battery died a long time later, but by then she was already in the city, where for the next nine hours she intensively looked for a job, walking and only briefly stopping at the following points: shop, post office, school, Stadhuis, town hall, next shops, Internet, and so on. She came back so exhausted, that she didn't want to move anymore, but she remembered her promise to read cards for Wilhelm tonight. Therefore, she appeared at his door with a prepared Tarot deck. She would rest later. Her appearance, however, gave away the state of her body and spirit, because Wilhelm immediately asked:

Is there something wrong with you? You look sick.

Jasmin got frightened as her health was already strained. She felt it, but she didn’t think it was so visible.

Just walking through the city too intensely. She entered his apartment and was enchanted by the view. It was not only spacious, but a tastefully furnished place, she noticed. Maybe there were too many things, but these items created an African, warm, familiar and friendly atmosphere. Sitting alone for a moment she had time to look at the antique furniture, minerals, crystals, and figures coming mainly from Africa, but could have equally well come from other parts of the world. There were also bones, and even whole skeletons of small, fortunately dead, crocodiles, but the whole thing was impressive. She scanned the shelves with her eyes, where several skulls were exposed behind closed glass doors. On the floor there were large wooden figurines of hippos, rhinos and tall flowers, reaching the ceiling, that adorned the interior.  Wilhelm appeared with tea and they began the session with the cards, sitting down close to the big round table.

Is there any chance of a relationship between us? This was his last question.

No, Jasmin said before even reading the next set drawn by him. Whatever the cards would show, she will strongly deny. As for the rest of the questions, she answered them as honestly and conscientiously as she could.

ON SATURDAY MORNING, Wilhelm helped Jasmin again to move her things upstairs, and a moment later she was alone in his apartment. She didn’t ask what his daughter had said. She suspected that the girl simply didn’t know about the situation and was waiting in the car unaware of anything. She wouldn’t worry about it now, having two whole weeks for herself. She walked around and saw the family pictures hanging in big frames, showing the places they had visited. Artistically painted walls were the result of the work of his ex-wife, a painter who left six months ago having found the love of her life, so she claimed. Wilhelm's world then stood on its head or simply broke down. Man, Jasmin thought you let a foreigner you don't even know into your home.  Following the bad reputation of Poles, I could remove all this cool furniture and sell it somewhere.  It must be worth a lot, she thought. I have all I need including access to the internet. She checked her e-mails and read from her mom that her aunt was in hospital in a coma. Nothing could be done now, but all the family was waiting for further news.

Melanie, Jasmin's cousin, called that evening. What a sense of right timing, Jasmin thought to pick up. She could use Wilhelm’s phone, calling freely to the whole Europe to all fixed numbers and give his number to Melanie, so she could call back. She wished that option would be available in Poland. What a freedom to be able to call across all countries for just an additional five Euros per month!

Oh, God! Melanie was crying. I saw my mom blue and lifeless. I don't know what will happen now. They are freezing her. I don’t know where the will is. I don’t know anything.

Wait, there's no hurry. We don’t know anything yet. Jasmin was in shock herself, so the consolation this time didn't work so well.

I’m looking for the will and don't know where. I’m not ready for that.

I know. Jasmin began to remember a set of drawers, which she saw at her aunt's home when she was in New York a few years ago. Remember that drawer? She began to describe it.

Maybe having the documents at hand, Melanie will be calmer. At least it will take her mind away to concentrate on something else, Jasmin thought.

Yes, everything is here, also about the house. Melanie found everything there.

Jasmin sat still for a while after hanging up. She tasted her own salty tears that started to fall down her cheeks. Where are these thoughts about death coming from? This question didn't require a response. She also didn’t want to die, but the conclusion was obvious, every life is heading toward death. Supposedly, who does not live with the fear of that, cannot live fully and barely exists. This idea didn't help her now, nor did the knowledge that any telephone conversation with loved ones could be the last one. How much time she has for herself and to be with others? And does it depend on something? The thought that things can be totally random, was terrifying. She always looked for meaning, the most profound, rummaging in philosophy and religions, to support something which could be just a search for protection from falling into the abyss of madness. The question repeated by all the philosophers of the world sounded now dangerously in her head. What is the meaning of life? Assuming, of course, there is one. Perhaps the question should be: is there any meaning of one's life? At this point these thoughts were no longer like a ringing bell in her head, but turned into powerful sounding gongs, like in a church. She could swear she saw a big metal gong suspended in the space of her own imagination. What weirdness! Wherever she could turn, there was only the smell of terror. Nothing was certain, nothing was guaranteed in this world!

The lack of certainty and stability filled her with panic and a new bout of crying. Is there something permanent? Questions seemed to have no mercy, and the answers didn’t satisfy her. Sure, she had already heard that the only constant is a change. How corny it sounded now!

Just a few years ago, probably influenced by the events of her cousin's death, she came to the conclusion that what counts is family, getting married, having a husband and children. The illusion of this belief disappeared sharply when more and more families she watched, were crumbling for different reasons. People who meant a world for somebody were dying, betraying, children were leaving their parents, turning away from them or just didn't remember to even call. Certainly creating a family didn’t protect one from death! She wasn’t that naive to directly, ruthlessly think that magically she could dismiss the topic of dying. How could she dare to think about immortality? She just wanted the impossible. She scolded herself for having such ideas, floating somewhere there in her brain: I want immortality and that's it!

AT THE SOUND OF THE ringing phone she woke up and picked up. It was Rajmiz complaining about Ollara, who didn’t want to talk to him.

She is just manipulating you and you’re weak by giving in to it. Jasmin judged and didn't want to be involved in it anymore. Diplomatically she ended the call, but the phone rang again letting her know that someone would like to connect. This time it was Wilhelm and the conversation was much more pleasant.

The culmination of the evening was news about her aunt. She woke up from her coma and therefore Jasmin concluded that this day was an extremely successful one.

THE CURTAIN IN THE room where she slept, turned into a tall, quiet woman. Jasmin knew that it was the spirit of the place and was here to protect this space. The woman didn’t look at Jasmin. She stared at the closet door as if watching something carefully. And Jasmin was looking at her. Even though she knew she was dreaming, there was no hurry to wake up. She felt good and safe.

DAYS BEGAN TO PASS frighteningly fast. Despite subsequent efforts, she still didn’t find any job. This had an effect on her well-being. In the morning there was no point to wake up, she thought. She had no more ideas of where to go in order to find this untouchable job. She was, therefore, quietly, savouring the fact that it was really comfortable to lie down in bed. Then her phone rang:

I want to help you, where are you? It was Harald who for some reason didn't forget about her. Let me help you, he sounded like he was begging.

    I no longer need help.

    Where are you?

    In a safe place.

You cannot reply to me like that. I offer you everything and you don't trust me. Do you think that I want to have sex with you?

    And you don’t want?

Of course I want to. After all, it may be part of friendship, it’s a spiritual thing.  Jasmin had already heard everything she should know. Her innate politeness didn’t allow her to just hang up, so once again, diplomatically she broke this weird acquaintance. Thank you, take care, goodbye. These words weren't so hard to use and press the button: end of the call.

He rang again, and when she didn’t answer anymore, he began to send her text messages with indiscriminate content. Because his threats didn't result in her response, he began to write very polite and begging messages. The situation was so comical that it provoked Jasmin to get up, but carefully. Her body was aching again due to too many walks through the city, spending this way most of the days. A physical pain mingled with some unspecified emotional one. These morning phone calls, she considered as encouragement from the universe to rise again.

Her agenda for today though was as follows: don't move too much and don’t work too much.

The contingency plan sounded: tidy up and water the flowers because Wilhelm had asked so nicely. There was also a further plan in case of a sudden inspiration: throw out the garbage, which is probably already stinking and clean up a little, because the apartment was actually too big to clean it all at one go. She really had to get used to this space first. Some cleaning is the least she can do for him. She realized though, she spent quite some hours doing it.  Consolation came in another dream ...

At the entrance of the cave, Lilit noticed a movement. The multiplicity of flying forms terrified her. Had the Anunnaki already discovered her secret place? Flying closer, the image became sharper and she saw the familiar circle of her new company. The vast majority of them, as the newly born creatures, had already begun to try out their living abilities. This resulted in different ways of expression, often falling down and keep on desperately using wings, making at the same time horrible sounds. Someone was sitting, stubbornly staring at the stone. Lilit thought quickly before she landed: how she will manage all of them?

It was Ami who was looking as if he was practising a motionless sitting and now instead of the stone he was facing up to the stars. Silat didn’t like that, so she nudged him with her leg, but Ami didn’t react, being probably enchanted by the vastness and apparently longing for something. Silat felt provoked and hit him at his cheek. Ami, as if not comprehending what had just happened, looked at Lilit with an innocence in his eyes, then back at the stone. Then he rose up, turned to Silat and struck her back on her head. The laughter that followed made Lilit turn and see Rahab lying down and watching everything around her. It was giving her a distinct pleasure. Ariel with the head of a lion was roaring at Tabris who just tried to climb up somewhere, probably for a better view.

Duma was standing nearby a sitting Saturn, as if those two understood each other in silence. They were only ones not bothered by anyone. Mara also with the head of a lion and not fully grown wings roared and rose to fly. Her wings seemed to be still too slow, so she kept falling down. Increasingly frustrated she now sought the release of her feelings so she threw herself at Duma. He, although giving the impression of a deadly tongue-tied individual, opened up his mouth and breathed a flame of fire in her direction.

Oh, Ea, what will we do? Lilit looked at Ea in horror. They will kill each other. They look like their only purpose is to annihilate themselves immediately.

That will be rather hard, they're just playing, Ea smiled.

Lilit saw a burn mark on Mara's fur, who moaned while fleeing in panic, but after a while her hair regrew, and there was no trace of a wound.

This cannot go on. We will quickly be spotted by my race. Saying that Ea extended his hand pointing at a place in the middle of the square at the entrance to the cave. He threw bright lightning out from his fingers. This attracted everyone's attention and aroused interest in the newborn beings. Ea turned and said loudly to everyone. Your sister has been kidnapped.

The whole group looked at him a little blankly, then at each other and went back to all the activities that he has just interrupted.

    Oh! Lilit glanced at Ea.

Well, he sighed. The first moments after hatching are the most important. It’s the time when patterns of behaviour start to form. In this case they are already adults, so this process occurs very quickly. They are not even accustomed to speech. Hmmm, we created a very dysfunctional family. Ea fell quiet for a moment, before he continued. It won’t be so bad. The fact that we were with them soon after hatching saves us.

Lilit stared at the ground, feeling all the blame for this situation, but Ea didn't allow her to dwell in her guilt too long.

I didn’t know many things before we arrived on earth. Creating a new species is a very responsible task and as you see I didn’t succeed first so well with people. You also didn’t know many things. We'll manage it all somehow.

    But how?

Ea threw again another bolt of lightning from his hands, which for a few seconds stopped the entire group. Then he fired again, and this time everyone was interested enough, so they all wanted to do the same. Quite clumsy little lightning appeared from one of the creature’s hands. Someone got hit with it in the forehead and someone else laughed. Fortunately, none of them was able to create the proper effect with a strong light and sound. This resulted in the tightening of the group around Ea.

Now Ami looked at Lilit, as if for the first time, and he threw himself into her arms. Lilit had time to catch him and stop the fall with the help of her wings, which she spread quickly and raised them both high. Seeing that, everyone held their breath, impressed by this sudden flight. Lilit not only didn't crash land, she also rose up and stopped in the air flapping her wings. Satisfied Ami laughed derisively glancing at the rest. He
