Preface
Woman Awakened BY: Carmen Wallace, © 2008
This is the poet’s passion, if I can give thought, touch, heal, or save a life; with any of these waters, and profound sayings, then they would have found their destiny. I would have satisfaction; in knowing the interest has been paid; to what have been given to me, from God, for life; and for others. On many levels do I write; for self-profits, and for the profits of all those that are brave enough to indulge.

INTRODUCTION
This woman has awakened from what seemed to have been a dream. Decades of darkness weighing heavily; blocking her callings. The dream spell; thick and heavy. The noises of many realities, whispering and screaming.
The silence of not understanding purpose, agonized; fear fought for attention. She was just living. Whys, and no thoughts; ping and missed pong. Running and running, looking for signs; even, God. Her eyes were wide open; to something was wrong; but her knowledge was to closed why.
What was being presented was as a riddle. The cards that she was dealt, had no model or reference to go by; so she lived Life. It was hard, and on raw terms.
And as sweet babies birds are pushed out of the nest in their fragility to wing life; she was pushed out into the world; at a very young age. Only to find her experiences, would one day be given to many; and cast up of springs for the living. They’re the courageous girl’s and the awakened woman.

An Awakening Moment
An awakening moment, An awakening moment
An awakening moment in time
Eyes paralyzed into the tombs of my soul
Where my conscience lied asleep in dormant
The head emerges up out of the darkness
For the calling of my passion to live
The voice that thundered my awakening said
Live, live life to the fullest, of its existence
An awakening moment in time
And I began visioning, in every direction around me
And I said out into time, life, you’re pretty big to live
And the thunder took a hold of my soul, and shook me
Like the feet of God’s presence walking upon the earth
I trembled to hear, what the understanding would be
But instead an object came flying towards me
And swallowed me up, inside of its containment
Then the voice said live or die, the choice is yours
And I tried at every angle of its doors, imaginable to be free
An awakening moment in time
In the epiphany of the height of my life
The answer was, think outside of the box
And live life to the fullest of its existence
For this truly, this is passion
An awakening moment in time

Understanding My Connection
So shy, so bold, so secretive
The camouflages of my life I live
In and out never to be caught
Wit my heart wide open
To anyone, to any particular thing, to any man, closed;
To any emotion with or without passion to grab,
I have found that the defenses obscure potential,
And to be, ceases in the fear of living,
But so shy, so bold, so secretive,
The cautions of life flashes...
What shall I take heed of...
The pearls of my mother;
The songs of my grandmother,
The tokens pressing experiences by my father,
The messages revealing, spoken throughout time
The voices of high waters lightening and thundering,
The tears dropped in senselessness,
Young veins emptying
Reversing roles, No
the unspoken word,
Authority and ranks broken,
The shifting of grain,
The horse and the lion kissing,
The cloning of life hissing, mocking the authentic Majesty;
But so shy, so bold, so secretive,
I am walking on the universe, tip toeing through the events of life
Shades on my eyes, the veil of my invisibility-ism cloaking, I am,
To see me, you must be in tune, to the bells of nothing
Where there is no sound, there is understanding to be heard,
to comprehend the measure is every existing reality, every experience planed
We are mind and spirit, in the realm of immortality
Listen, listen, the conscious is eternal, in time
I am living in the chill of life
So shy, so bold, so secretive

Honoring Self And Others
Always Be Conscious Of Your Creator, Giving Thanksgiving Unto Him
For His Goodness And Mercies, Are Tender, They Endure Forever
Live Righteous Before God, And Man, Showing Your Good Works
Let Your Clothing Be In Modesty, And Faithful To Royal Colors
Affirm Yourself Every Day; For It’s A Blessing, For You To Arise
Speak Boldly To The Hills, And Mountains, That Try To Block Your Way
Let Your Beauties Be Of Confidence, Not In Vanity, For You’re In Kingships
Listen To The Wisdom, Of That Soft Still Voice, Of Your Inner Self That Glows, It’s Your Truth And Guide, To Help You; Honor Self, And Others You Encounter
True Kindness Is Amplified, And Cannot Be Hidden,
It Springs Out Like Morning Glories
Do Right To Others; And Owe No One Anything,
Be Fair In All Things, And Give The Measures
Let Your Heart And Mind, Be Weighed,
By The Things That Have Life, And Virtues
To Honor A Child’s Necessities, Is To Provide Them Shelter,
Water, Food, And Clothing
A Quality Education, Seeds’ Growth, Beyond Mental Comprehension;
It Will Meet Time
Nourishing Them With Love, Truths Of The Worlds,
They’ll Build Better Tomorrows
But If You Spare The Rod, You’ll Spoil The Child;
Leaving Terrorists, And Brute Beast In The World
Gracious Is Your Kindness To Strangers,
When It Comes From A Place Of Honor
What Is A Soul, But A Finite Drop;
In The Most High’s Hand, For His Own Pleasure
Paint With A Living Brush, Your Every Breath,
To Give The Strokes’ Atmosphere
A Quote With Merit, Is To Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself;
This Is Three Fold Honor
When You See The Good Work Of Another,
Envy Not; But Rather, Esteem His Endeavor
Show Hospitality Out Of A Pure Heart;
As An Art Of Strength, To Good Service, Unto God
Honor Is Loving One’s Self, To Whole Well Being;
Then You Can Give Honor To Another.
