Mum had always liked Irish singers, and we’d chosen it to play at her cremation service.
As I listened to Ronan’s voice, my mind wandered back to my childhood – remembering Christmas in 1997 when I was 12 and Mum had bought a computer racing game, Gran Turismo, for the four of us kids.
Only, she was the one who became addicted to it, not us!
