I choose you, forever ", it is the result of the work of many years by the Father Horacio Rivas, Sch., with boyfriends, boyfriends and marriage, and the collaboration of monitors marriages dating as an invitation to work in depth preparation for marriage. This workbook, intended for newly- engaged couples and/or married couples, serves as a complement to the book: I Have Chosen You Forever. Its purpose is to provide help and assistance to newly- engaged couples as well as to married couples when combined with workshops already found in the workbook.

It offers couples guidande by strenthening and deepening their knowledge of the main topics found in the Sacrament of Marriage, while they prepare themselves for married life and to starting a family. For this reason, couples are invited to attend and participate in five sessions with their monitors, using their workbooks to write down notes related to the various topics discussed in each workshop and thus, specify their wishes, their objectives,their dreams and aspirations that they wish to bring into their marriage. In addition newly-engaged couples will be required to complete homework, which will help them accomplish their married life project.

The workbook also includes a synthesis of five topics that will be covered in the different sessions:

•Our marriage, a life-long project towards happiness.

•Marriage, comunication and complementation.

•Our vocation to Love.

•Personal and marital balance.

•How to build a rock-solid foundation the Sacrament of Marriage and Family Life.

Furthermore the workbook offers guidance when preparing oneself for the Sacrament of Confession. Additionally, it includes a chart on how to plan a family budget, a guideline of binding measures to ensure marital growth. (what is known in the spanish original as the 4R’S),and a prayer to the Virgin Mary asking for the consecration of their marriage, all of which will help strengthen and solidify the marital relationship.
