About this ebook

DESCRIPTION:
Samantha is not looking forward to her trip. Maui was her mom’s idea of how she should cope with ending her engagement a few weeks earlier. On the plane to the island, she meets Jon, and feeling instant attraction to him, wonders if a little tryst is on her horizon. Over the next two weeks, they spend every minute together and love develops.

EXCERPT:
“Jesus, mom ... did you have to send a Greek God to tempt me?”

“Did you say something, doc? I missed it.”

“Nothing important ... just thanking my mom for sending you.”

“I’m gonna kiss mine when I see her.” His eyes roamed over the tiny blue triangle struggling to cover her mound. “Doc, you make that bikini bottom look fantastic. Where’s the top?”

“Right here, silly.” She pointed to tiny patches barely covering her nipples. “You like?”

“Oh, yeah. Get over here.”

She crawled onto the lounge next to his, and placing her elbows on the cushion, pushed her ass out, wiggling it. Jon’s eyes narrowed. “You’re killing me, doc.”

“Who me? I’m just stretching here.”

“Yeah, right. Like you didn’t intend to make me hard.”

“Ooh. Did I do that?”

“Yep.”

Jon pulled Sam on top of him, covering her mouth with his. Her heart pumping hot blood through arteries, she moaned. He shifted them to the edge of the lounge, and wrapping her arms around his neck, locked her legs behind his waist as he stood. Feeling like a feather in his arms as he covered the distance to the suite, she nibbled his ear. “Guess we’re not waiting ‘til after dinner?”

“Nope.”

“Good. I need you in me.”

He gently set her on the bed, and untying the top, she arched her hips as he pulled the bikini bottom down her legs. Watching his fingers unbutton his shorts, she licked her lips, and seeing his enormous, swollen shaft, sucked in a breath. “Oh, my God. Fuck me.”

“Plan to, doc.”

“Hurry ... I’m dripping here.” She gazed into his fiery eyes, knowing hers mirrored his. “No time for foreplay, mister ... just hammer that monster in and fuck me to death.”
Crawling onto the bed, he hooked his arms under her knees and leaning forward, invaded her with a hard, desperate thrust. The force pushing air from her lungs, she sucked oxygen in, losing it again as he hammered his cock back in. Taking quick short breaths in between his savage strokes, she finally managed to fill her starved lungs as the first convulsions raced through her body. “Jesus Christ. Don’t stop.”

“Don’t plan to. God, you’re so tight.”

“Shut up and fuck–––oh, God, yes.”

    Chapter 1

Samantha watched young couples, glowing with love, undoubtedly looking forward to a vacation in paradise. Sitting in the bustling San Francisco departure lounge, she fidgeted in the hard, plastic seat, wishing she felt the same. Lost in thought, the gate attendant’s booming announcement jolted her. Now boarding first-class passengers.

She took a deep breath, gathered her things, and shuffling down the long gangway, boarded the jumbo jet, settling into a luxurious seat next to the fuselage. A stewardess handed her a glass of sparkling champagne, and watching the bubbles rising in the crystal, she took a sip, swirling the cool liquid in her mouth. Taking another sip, she swiveled her head, looking through the small window at the stark cement, while thinking about the life-changing events of the last few weeks.

The Captain’s voice came over the intercom. Welcome aboard ladies and gentlemen. We have smooth air to Maui and hope you enjoy the flight. We should get you to the island in a little under six hours.

A shadow crossed her eyes, and looking up, Samantha saw a man duck through the aircraft’s door just before the gate attendant pushed it shut. She eyed the man’s handsome face and lean muscled body, and chewing on her lower lip, decided she liked the view. Feeling her face flush, she pushed the erotic thoughts from her mind. Whoa, Sam … slow down. You just ended a relationship.

The stewardess pointed down the aisle. You just made it, sir. First-class isn’t full, take any seat you like.

Thanks. I had to run all the way after I finally cleared the ridiculous lines at security.

Samantha’s heart skipped a beat when the man’s mesmerizing, blue eyes locked on hers. Smiling as he moved to her row, taking the seat across the aisle, she watched the flight attendant hand him a glass. He glanced at Samantha. Hi. I’m Jonathon.

Hi back. Samantha … Sam for short.

    My friends call me Jon.

    We’re already friends?

Maybe not yet … but I hope we will be.

Sam reached over the aisle, touching his glass with hers. To making a new friend.

    To new friends.

I like takeoffs. Mind if we start our friendship when we’re in the air?

    Works for me, Sam.

She felt a bump as a tractor pushed the passenger jet from the gate, and taxiing along the tarmac a few minutes, the Captain came on. Ladies and gentlemen, we’re next in line. Flight attendants … prepare for takeoff.

Moments later, g-forces pushed Sam deeper into her seat as the plane rumbled down the runway. She squeezed the armrests and looking through the window, watched the city in the distance slide by. The wheels lost contact with the pavement, its wings slicing through the air, the jet soared into the cloudless sky. Her stomach dropping as the aircraft banked, turning west towards Hawaii, Sam’s pulse quickened, and taking a deep breath, mumbled, You can do this, girl.

Looking at the bay below, she enjoyed views of the arches and cables supporting the Golden Gate Bridge shimmering in the bright sunlight. A few minutes later, the captain’s voice startled her. We’re at cruising altitude. Feel free to walk about the cabin. Enjoy the flight.

After the stewardess took their drink orders, Jon leaned over the aisle. I have a confession to make. You probably won’t like it.

Okay. We just met. What could you possibly need to confess?

Our mothers are meddlers, and worse, they know each other. He touched her arm. That’s a dangerous combination.

Tell me exactly what they did.

My mom told me you just ended an engagement and your mom’s worried you could be suicidal … I’m supposed to keep an eye on you. On the positive side … I hear you’re a doctor and just finished your residency.

The stewardess returned, and handing Sam and Jon each a Mai Tai, moved away. Sam removed the umbrella and looked at Jon. I am a doctor, but I still have another residency to finish. Jesus, mom just won’t stop. What’s your last name?

Alexander. And yours is Marshal. Right? Damn, I hope I met the right Samantha.

You got the right girl. Your mom is Sarah?

Yep. That’s her. Rebecca’s your mom?

If you want to call the conniving, useless sac-of-shit that, then yes. She took a sip. Thanks for telling me.

No problem. I’m not a fan of interfering mothers and how far they go. I’m surprised your mother didn’t ask you to check up on me.

Oh? Why would our moms want me to keep an eye on you?

Caught my girlfriend in bed with another man about a month ago and kicked her out.

Jon, I’m sorry to hear that.

I’m okay. But mom thinks it crushed my ego, which it didn’t, and she’s convinced I’m wallowing in self-pity, which I’m not. Mom doesn’t believe I intended to end it anyway. I didn’t love the bitch and wanted to be free if I happened to meet the right girl.

My mom thinks I’m devastated too … I’m not. I didn’t love my ex, and as it turned out, he felt the same about me. I’d marry the right guy in a second if I stumbled into him.

What a pair we make. Jon raised his glass. To moms and their devious schemes.

To mothers and their manipulations. Sam clinked her crystal glass against his. I’m not looking forward to being alone on a beautiful island … or seeing all the couples in love. I hate our moms put you in this situation, but it would be nice to have a friend in Maui.

I’d like a friend on the island too ... dinners for one can be lonely. Jon took a sip. You know my mom will call, expecting daily reports about how you’re doing.

I know. Give your reports. I promise I’m fine. Just hope my mom believes it. She took a breath. For some reason, I trust you. Add sunbathing and sightseeing to those dinners?

Deal. I still think you’ll get a call asking about me.

Probably. She glanced at his face, her heart missing another beat. Sit with me?

    Thought you’d never ask.

Jon moved next to Sam, and they talked as the plane soared far above the sun-splashed ocean. An hour later, the stewardess served lunch, and ordering drinks, they continued getting to know each other. Caught up in the conversation, Sam lost track of time and flinched as the Captain’s voice boomed through the intercom. Ladies and gentlemen, we’re ahead of schedule. We’ll be landing in twenty minutes.

Sam squeezed Jon’s arm. Where’re you staying? Let me give you my cell number.

Forgot to tell you, doc. Believe me, I had nothing to do with it ... our moms set it up.

"We’re staying at the same resort. Right?

    Yep. Don’t kill the messenger.

You rat. You’re in it with them. She punched his arm. "Damnit. I’m
