About the Book
The words of a fourteen-year old immigrant, expressing the thoughts and emotions, morality and knowledge gained through her journey across horizons. With her mother's poems guiding her through the troubles and accomplishments of life, she has taken her experiences and put them into words, hoping to make a change. She has grown into the person she is, but she will grow into the person she will be.
