About this ebook
There is nothing more exciting to a woman than to hear a Doctor tell her those magical words that she’s pregnant! Just at that moment she becomes overtaken by so many emotions. She goes from excitement to fear (especially if this is her first), then from fear to overwhelming joy. In fact, she begins to even question if she can really complete the process. One small seed has been planted and It's about to change your world!
It is amazing how our purpose and dreams are birthed in the same manner. Our purpose also starts with a small seed; however, that seed is planted in us by God and causes us to dream big and to expect greater than our minds can possibly phantom.
When your purpose wakes up in you, just like in natural conception you begin to experience symptoms that you come to know that something on the inside of you is definitely changing. You begin to have dreams and visions that are bigger than your faith.
This book will take you through the gestation process of carrying your dreams from conception to delivery.

When The Water Breaks - Jackie Gilbert-Grant
Introduction
There is nothing more exciting to a woman than to hear a Doctor tell her those magical words that she’s pregnant! Just at that moment she becomes overtaken by so many emotions. She goes from excitement to fear (especially if this is her first), then from fear to overwhelming joy. In fact, she begins to even question whether she can really complete the process. But she comes to realize that the seed has been planted and that she is now impregnated with a life that she must carry for nine months until the expected date of delivery. Life for this expectant woman is about to change forever! Her mind, body, and spirit are about to stretch farther than she can possibly imagine. Every aspect of her life will experience a complete transformation that will forever change the trajectory of her life. This is all because of the planting of one small seed into her womb.
For many, that big smile will diminish as time goes on. Very early on the morning sickness may come, and everything she tries to eat she will find herself regurgitating it back up, simply because her system cannot tolerate it for this season. So it is when we have been impregnated with a dream or purpose. You find that the petty thoughts and aggravating ways of others that you use to allow, as you begin to stretch, you find you have low or no tolerance for. That’s because there is a shift in your thought pattern taking place. And let’s not forget the frequent bathroom trips…yes, you must eliminate all of the excess baggage that has been holding you back as you recognize its all just waste. As time continues through this process the body will stretch as it accommodates the extra weight from the baby as it grows. As this happens you may even notice that you will begin to even look different, all because one small seed has been planted. It’s about to change your world!
It is amazing how our purpose and dreams are birthed in the same manner. Our purpose also started with a small seed; however, that seed was planted in us by God. What we have received from God is priceless and it is precious. It has caused us to dream big and to expect greater than our minds can possibly phantom. Our purpose is a gift from God. It is something that He freely gives to us, not because we are so deserving, but because He has granted us His divine favor.
He so graciously plants the seed of purpose in us in order for us to live our lives abundantly, productively, and in perfect peace. Ask yourself this question? What is the one thing I am specifically passionate about? Understand this can be anything, church ministry, owning your own business, helping women and children, whatever your heart and mind burn for. If money wasn’t an issue, what would you really pursue? I am convinced that deciding on what your passion really is will help you to determine what God has called you to do in life. I heard a motivational speaker once say that "God works at the intersection of our gifts and our passion". Where do your gifts meet your passions? That just may be the place of purpose for your life.
When your purpose wakes up in you, just like in natural conception you begin to experience symptoms that you come to know that something on the inside of you is definitely changing. You begin to have dreams and visions that are bigger than your faith. There is no physician to visit to get the proper prenatal care, or an ultrasound to see if a heart is beating. No! With our purpose and dreams, we have to put our trust totally in God. He gives clarity and directions as to how far along we are, and what our next step will be. The great news we get from Him is that what He has deposited in you is what you have been dreaming about all along. He confirms that He is the Father and that He will be there for you throughout the process. I pause right here to give you a word of advice. Don’t pursue your dream just to prove something to someone, the impregnation is all about you, who you want to become, and why.
I can remember when I was pregnant with my son, I can remember not allowing anyone to know that I was having a baby. I was a single Mom and I didn’t want my secret to being revealed at that time. So, I kept my little secret until I could not conceal it any longer. Although my reasoning was because of not being married at the time, it is a must that you guard your dream/vision/purpose. It is not for the world to know right away that you are carrying something that is about to take you across the globe. You must be careful who you share this great news with, understanding that everyone will not be happy that you have been chosen by God to birth this amazing gift to the world. If you expose your secret too soon, distractors and sabotagers may show up an could possibly cause you to abort your purpose. Whatever you do don’t abort your dream/purpose because by now you have been given an expected due date. At the right time, the right people will come that will be happy for you and will even help you by giving you great advice that will be beneficial to your process. You will know who they are when they come because your baby will leap in your belly at the sound of the voice of a true advocate.
You will recognize that you are stretching and you’re spreading fast. You are now receiving more advice and understanding of what’s about to come. Unfortunately stretching is not comfortable, nor is it an easy process to endure. In fact, the tightness and the intensity of the stretching make you think that you can’t go any further. But this is the time to pace yourself and stay focused. Make sure that your mind is not consumed by what you feel nor what you see. Always keeping in your mind that He is stretching you beyond your limits and ability to launce your to your desired destiny. Understand that by this time you can no longer keep your secret, that everyone has noticed that something is growing inside of you and that it appears to be big They will question your credibility, and even try to say things that will make you feel inadequate. They will begin to ask questions, and some will even go as far as to say they don’t believe you’re capable of delivering. Don’t let them frustrate the purpose of God in your life. There will be those who make you so anxious that you will just want to hurry and get it over with. But your prayer is to ask God to help you endure under the pressure.
Moving outside of God’s timing will cause you to slip and fall, thus causing a miscarriage. Waiting on God will definitely pay off. Continue to follow the plan that you and God made prior to conception. The assignment comes with pressure, and on the days the weight and responsibility of the dream/purpose just seem too overwhelming you must sign up and go to your birthing classes. So, you turn to perhaps your Mentor, or someone that has delivered a big dream before. Stop asking people who have never been where you are going for directions. Your Mentor or advisor should have the knowledge and experience of how to make life-sized, special deliveries. That person will coach you and encourage you, giving sound advice that will propel you to press forward because you are closer than you think. That person will begin to prepare you for delivery and share with you all the things you will need to make this a successful and easy birth as you move closer to the due date. It is important you realize that you must be careful of who you allow speaking into your life. What you ingest can cause you to have false labor. You don’t want to start dilating too soon.
When the fullness of time comes, you are just about ready to give birth. There will be many classic signs that the day is at hand. You will find an uneasy feeling come upon you, and light pains will begin to come. You are excited and nervous. You’re wondering how long will labor pains last. For some only a few hours and for others a maybe be a few days. But one thing for sure you know this is it. You begin to contact everyone to let them know that it’s your time and what you have been carrying is about to come forth. And just as you make that final call your water breaks. Don’t Panic – Remember, birthing only happens after the water breaks.

The High-Risk Pregnancy, A Delay is Not A Denial
Before I take you from conception to delivery of your purpose, I want to clear up the myths and rumors out there, by defining what is considered a high-risk pregnancy. This is a pregnancy that poses greater risk to the mother or fetus than an uncomplicated
