About this ebook
Julie B has a comfortable job as a morning radio host with a popular radio station. Today, however, she is to interview her least favourite rock star--the man who sold her teenage soul to the masses for a huge profit after he wrote a hit song about her. And what Julie wants more than anything is to get her revenge. Can anything in this interview possibly go right?

The interview will be broadcast live, on-air in exactly ten minutes and forty-five seconds.
I have no idea why I am so nervous about this. I mean, it’s just an interview. I do interviews all the time. It’s my job. It’s fun. Most of the stars who stop by the radio station are truly amazing people. They nearly always have a great story or two to tell. And they’re usually so lovely.
Then again, I think you’d have to be a truly good person to agree to an interview with Lunch FM. We’re a long, long way from being the biggest, or the most exciting radio station in Adelaide. We’re the kind of radio station that, if we manage to scrape into seventh place in the Nielson Ratings survey, the station manager will take us all out for dinner to celebrate, and we’ll all get a bonus in our pay. Most of our big commercial rivals would be devastated with ratings like that. In fact, I wonder how it is that Lunch FM survives. We don’t get the sponsors and advertising revenue that the big stations get. We don’t have the street cred that some of the local community radio stations have. We have two weekday slots that perform reasonably well—Breakfast and Drive—but my slot, Mornings, is a bit of a black hole ratings-wise. Once Breakfast is over, listeners are switching over to other stations, which is why the Station Manager is keen for me to do more celebrity interviews like
