About this ebook
Ken tells his story loosely based on a true story in 1925 Philadelphia where two boys, 14 and 12 are sentenced to a spanking a day for 47 days for a store burglary. Ken (the names were changed in the book) is the older boy and it shows how he and Jeff the younger boy adjust to their new reality and learn to accept responsibility for their actions and how in the process Ken's relationship with his father grows and strengthens,

I grew up in the suburbs of New York City and now live in rural New England. If you are like me and have an interest in spanking and discipline you will enjoy my books. This interest began when I was a child. I suppose it started when I was living in an apartment complex and was with a group of kids listening to two older boys who were brothers telling the rest of us that they were going to be punished by their Dad that night and sure enough when I was out after dinner there was a group of kids hanging outside those boys' window and I could hear the sound of quite a sound spanking going on from inside. Many of the episodes in my books, while fictional, are based loosely on experiences I've had through the years, although in two of my works, Embrace of the Succubus and My Evolution Of A Slave are purely fictional and not based on any actual experience.. I hope that you can take the opportunity to look over the selection of books I have written and review the sample downloads and hopefully purchase one or more of them. When and if you do, I also encourage you to give me some feedback on this site or at my website: www.spankingbooksbysynnot.com.

Introduction
This story is based upon an actual episode that was widely reported in the press at the time and even made it into in the New York Times in February, 1925. It occurred in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and involved two boys, aged 14 and 12 who broke into a grocery store and between them stole $94.00 worth of merchandise for which their parents each reimbursed the store owner $47.00 and when brought before the Juvenile Judge were given this unusual sentence. An even more extensive account of this incident was even reported in The Register, a newspaper in Adelaide, Australia on July 23, 1925 on page 15 to which I have referred extensively for my narrative.
Although I have tried in some instances to follow the original origins of this story, I have taken license to deviate from it later on for dramatic effect and perhaps in this version reach a result that would have been more effective for the boys and families involved if the newspaper accounts of the follow up interviews are to be believed.
I decided to tell the story from the viewpoint of the older fourteen year old boy.
Chapter 1
Ken
My name is Ken Hills and I am fourteen years old. I live with my Mon and Pop and my 9 year old sister Susan on North Palethorpe Street near Wyoming Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and this is a sad story about what happened to me earlier this year in 1925.
Before starting this story there are two things I would say to any other boy who asked me for advice; first don't commit burglary and two if you do, don't ever end up before Judge Balfour unless you hate sitting down comfortably.
In late February 1925 me and my friend thirteen year old Jeff Rogan attended Beltonville Public School together although he was behind me at school. We'd known each other forever since he lived only a short distance away on Wyoming Avenue at 2d Street. Many days we'd walk together to and from school with my sister tagging along since she also attended Beltonville.
I was in ninth grade and all the grades were in the same building and thus we went to school with all age groups. I really liked it that I was finally getting to be one of the older kids in the school and I noticed that Jeff was even looking up to me in that regard.
We live in a neat working class neighborhood that consists of what some might call row houses and it was neat the way everyone seemed to know each other and occasionally a neighbor would be outside even on this cold day and would wave to us as we walked to or from school or would be out to play. It was sometimes embarrassing to be out because Mamma would fuss over me and make me bundle up even when the other kids were less covered by a coat or something. I guess she fretted because I always seemed to be the one to catch a cold even when other kids didn't get one.
I remember the day I climbed up the stairs and went inside the front door and could smell the dinner that Mamma was cooking. It was fried chicken and my mouth was watering 'cause nobody made fried chicken like Mamma did.
Mamma called out: Kenny and Susie is that you?
Yes Mamma
I hated being called Kenny but Mamma would never stop doing it no matter how much I complained. Susan chimed in that she was also home.
Make sure you both do your lessons before dinner.
I sighed. Yes Mamma
I hated having to do that right after school but in a way knew she was right because it meant I'd be done and could relax after dinner. However if it was a day when it had snowed, I would often go out with a snow shovel and offer to shovel a walk or driveway to get a little extra money and when I did I saw that Mamma was proud of me for doing that.
When I was about finished with my lessons I heard the door open and knew it was Pop arriving home from his shift. Pop had a good factory job and would often talk of hoping to be promoted to a foreman at some point but knew he had to wait for someone else to either be promoted or retire before a spot would open up. I could tell things were going good because we had finally been able to get a refrigerator instead of having to use an ice box and always be reliant on the iceman to deliver ice and that also meant I didn't have to help Pop struggle to stock the ice box with the ice and drain the water from the previous loads. I would also sometimes listen in when Mamma and Pop talked and that's how I learned how pleased that there were actually able to
