About this ebook

Twenty two years old and a cowboy working for The Horizon Ranch, Jessup Brooke has a secret, a secret that he can't let anyone else find out--a secret that has already cost him the most important person in his life. Since that day, he's felt ashamed of who and what he is.

When he and two other cowboys are caught on the open Texas plains during the infamous 1836 Norther, the three are in a race against time to find shelter before the storm can claim them. Among the three is Jeb, a man whom Jessup finds his gaze linger on for just a split second too long.

As the brutal blizzard tightens its fist around the three unfortunate men, Jessup must accept the fact that the only way to stay warm is in each other's arms. But when he feels a different heat--searing yet comforting--between himself and Jeb, will Jessup be able to overcome his traumatic past and share the secret with the handsome cowboy?

Tangled Spurs (First Time Gay Cowboy) - Isa Hart

    Tangled Spurs

Miss Molly is going to die if we don’t herd the cattle back! Jeb, the lead wrangler of their three man group, shouted across the frozen pasture.

She’ll already lose her foal soon. Ezra, another wrangler, shouted back.

The three muscular men tried shielding the wind by turning their backs to it as they struggled to put a simple tent up. The forest green tent was large enough to hold all three men and still have enough room for them to feel comfortable inside.

Easier if one gets inside and holds it up from in there. Jessup, the youngest and least muscular of them announced with a frown. They had to toss their cowboy hats into their bags because the wind was getting too ferocious for them to be able to keep them on and boy were they feeling the cold. If they didn’t get inside the tent soon then either one or all of them were going to die.

I see a small cavern up ahead! Why don’t we head on over there? It will give Miss Molly and the rest of the cattle a better chance at surviving. Jeb spotted. The cavern was a little way away but with the help of the horse and wagon it shouldn’t take them long to get there and try and round as much cattle in there too.

In agreement the men headed back in the wagon. They’d decided to let Ezra ride the horse and lead them their way back simply because he was the biggest member of their group. At almost seven feet and built like a house, the man wasn’t going to feel the cold as poor Jessup would at a third of his height.

Ezra had almost fifty years but refused to give his job up. Married with three children, he said the money helped. He was very religious and Jessup was honestly quite scared to around the guy. It wasn’t that he tried to push his religion on anyone it’s just that if there was something Ezra didn’t agree with, he made sure everyone knew.
