Since she was a little girl, Rosette dreamt of becoming a lawyer. Amidst several challenges, she finally attained her dream when she went to Law School at the revered Makerere University, East Africa's premier institution of higher learning. After practicing law in one of the top law firms in Kampala, Uganda and later working as a Legal Manager in a large multinational company, her dream was fulfilled albeit for a little while. Her flourishing career was cut short when she had to follow her Husband whose career took him first to Tunis, Tunisia then Abidjan, Ivory Coast and at the time of writing this book to Johannesburg, South Africa. Life as an expatriate wife came with its high and low moments. In addition, unknown to Rosette, her career had become synonymous with her identity.
