Food For Thought: The Series - Book Two

About this ebook
“Food For Thought’s” singular impetus as a "six installment mini book series" is centered on my belief that an experience trumps a theory. It’s a sharing of one man’s viewpoints on life as he has observed it over many years. Life is an astute teacher that provides a multitude of valuable lessons. It’s in the sharing of those lessons that we feed each other with “Food For Thought”.

I believe when it comes to the topic of "faith" it's important to know the heart of the writer you are reading. Hence, a little insight. If you've perused my writings I trust you have noticed that I'm an unapologetic non-conformist thus not religious per say. In fact, my greatest concern in life is to be summarily dismissed as a "religious person". My preference? A "real person" serving "a real God" who "really loves" THE WORLD. From day one of my sojourn with God it's always been a "real or nothing" mindset. I couldn't imagine any other way to approach the journey. Admittedly, never perfect and often awkward, but that has been and continues to be the narrow road I travel. At 27 years of age Jesus literally stole my heart. I did not join a "Club". I fell in love and entered the "Kingdom" of my Lover. To me, that was as glorious and serious as it gets! While my writings may not adhere to the status quo at times, I do hope at the very least they provide stimulation for serious contemplation. Blessings to all. Bill Taylor

The Treasure Of Wisdom
"Life doesn’t get easier we just get wiser".
King Solomon of old biblical days, already considered to be the wisest man on planet earth, still continued to pray unceasingly for wisdom, perceiving it to be the most valuable of commodities to be accrued in one’s life. We find his wisdom revealed in his pursuit of wisdom. King Solomon realized that life is far too complex and challenging to be complacently fueled with yesterday’s lessons. They’re to be saved for future reference but they were for yesterday. Therefore it is in the accumulation of wisdom that our arsenals of weaponry are filled. Thus, it is not a one time prayer
thing! It’s a daily coming to the table with this request:
