Reviews for Seven African Powers
19 ratings3 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A lot of resources inside, days of the week, what the orishas like, recipes even! Just remember to honor these parts of yourself as well.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5It seems as though the author has drawn upon incorrect information from unreliable and inauthentic sources. Anyone who is an actual devotee of this spiritual tradition can tell.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Incorrect information provided in this book about Afro-Cuban Religion. Example: Under Yemaya, it states Yemaya is known as Nana Buruku. This is incorrect. Nana Buruku is the mother of Babalu Aye and she resides in the swamps.
