    Most people start-up a dropship online business with the mindset that they will be receiving the same price with the wholesale buyers. I might have to bust your bubbles; you may not be getting the lowest price in dropshipping. Dropship distributors are often charged an extra fee but discreetly inputted into the price. 

    Low-Profit margin

    Due to the high cost of the product, when compared to the traditional retail stores, the profit margins are usually low. Operating in this competitive niche of marketing is often difficult due to the number of other dropshipping companies around. Since it is easy to set-up the dropshipping business and the overhead cost is often at a minimal, most sellers can easily set-up shop and sell at a very low price in other to break into the market. This is possible since very little was used in getting the business started. This also inhibits the ability of the sellers to advertise on sites likes Google and Facebook. 

    The Issues of Inventory

    This is seen as a pro to some sellers and also a drawback to some sellers. Having to source your product from different warehouse or manufacturers, keeping tracks of all this order might become a difficult task after all. Most times, the warehouse is also fulfilling orders for other sellers and inventory also changes daily. This keeps merchants on their toes in looking for a better way to sync their store's inventory with suppliers.
