The Power of Words

Many of us have allowed our words to destroy instead of build. Our speech is shaped by our perception, which is filtered by our environment. The thoughts you allow refuge within your mind will eventually manifest. Too often we remain in a stagnation place because we fear change. In order for growth to occur, change is inevitable and critical in the life of believers. We must get to where we constantly bring our flesh under subjection, walk in agreement with the word, and declare as it is written. Every day you are creating with the words you speak.

So choose your words carefully....

James 3:8-10 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

The gift of the spoken word

THIS GIFT OF GREAT power to declare and decree thoughts into the atmosphere comes with great accountability and responsibility. God has given us the ability to speak life and death by the power of words.

The power of words demonstrated by God launched forth light into darkness, the creation of earth and all that dwells therein according to Genesis chapter 1 and 2.

God has given us authority to speak in the earth as oracles of His glory. Heaven backs up kingdom declarations when we understand who Christ is and His divine will. 

MATTHEW 16:19 AND I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shall bind on earth (Power of Spoken Words) shall be bind in heaven: and whatsoever shall be loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Power of Spoken Words)

Binding and loosing biblically means to forbid by an indisputable authority and to permit by an indisputable authority.  It is very important to understand the power of the tongue and what comes out of the mouth. It is a gift, a tool, life to the right person and death to the unwise and rebellious soul. 

As the Bible says in James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear and slow to speak.

Take seriously the power of the words you speak. Examine and listen closely before speaking. Once you speak it into the atmosphere, your words cannot be taken back. The words you speak will build up, tear down, give life, take a life, bring healing, or cause pain.

OF ALL OUR SENSES, the eyes and ears seem to have the most influence. What we hear and what we see form environments in the mind called thoughts.

These environments oftentimes are a huge mess of observations, premonitions, and assumptions that tend to shape the way we interact in life.

This view of life stimulated by thoughts, patterns, and environments can be expressed through the mouth by way of speech.
