    Acknowledgements

I am thankful to God for my late parents, Pastor, Reverend Dr. Leon Armstead and Belzora Armstead. To be raised in an atmosphere of love is something I do not take for granted. I am also grateful for my spiritual heritage of gospel preachers in the genealogy of both my parents. I thank the Gr. St. Mark Baptist Church family for showing me what it is to be a part of the body of Christ. I thank my sisters, Ptra. Venus M. Smitherman and her husband, George, Dr. M. Jewel Green and her husband, Lesley, and LaWanda G. Gordon for their steadfast love and support in so many ways, allowing me the space in my life to write this book without stressing. I thank them for being just what I needed during certain parts of my process where I needed to rest. I thank them for standing faithful to God, therein giving me peace. I also thank my brothers Clinton Armstead and Joe E. Anderson for allowing God to use them in my process. Thank you Ptra. Yvette Wilson for obeying God and encouraging me. Thanks Evangelist Jovencia Valenzuela for listening to God and believing what He showed you concerning me. Many pages of this book were written while I was on a missionary journey in the Philippines, living with my brother in the Lord, Ptr. Remigio B. Bulosan, Jr.. Thanks for welcoming me as a part of your family. So many others in the body of Christ have been there for me. A special thanks to two long time friends, Sybil Plunkett and Kenneth Thompson, for your direct encouragement towards the release of this book. I also thank God for Ms. Vance, my 4th grade teacher who told me in Posey Elementary School that I would be a writer someday. That word has remained with me to this day. To God be the glory.

    Preface

So why did I write this book? Why did I see a need to add to the existing arsenal of Christian literature? After considering my lifetime of questions to God and His answers to me, I was led to share the revelations He gave to me. All of God’s people go thru several processes. Hopefully this book will assist each reader in having a greater understanding and positive perception of their journey. Processed For Progress is to be used as a tool for the body of Christ. I pray that the revelation contained within is subject matter for great edifying discussions. Hopefully this book will also motivate each reader to spend more time in the Word of God. This book is filled with revelation which I refer to as keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. I believe I have been called to distribute these keys as God gives them to me. Let God use this book as nourishment to the body of Christ, and a ministry tool for serving God’s people.

THE GOAL: To encourage a positive perception of your process. Your perception of your process can expedite or delay your journey to your place of progress. Your perception enables you to make the difficult decisions life presents within your process.

YOUR FOUNDATION: Acceptance of God’s Sovereignty, Providence and Unconditional Love for you. Awareness of God’s love and concern for you paired with His ability to care for you in every way is paramount in moving forward in His peace and your faith.

YOU WILL FIND: Peace in knowing God is the final authority in your process. He is prepared for your bad decisions. Have joy in knowing that, regardless of how it looks and feels, or the bad intentions of others, it is for your purpose and your good. Refer back to your foundation.

YOU WILL KNOW: Your process is only allowed because it fits into God’s predestined plan for your life. God knows how it can be used to bless you and bring Him glory. God knows what is best for you and desires to manifest it into your life. Regardless of the weapons formed against you, God will use it all to elevate you into a healthy and wealthy place.

STAND AND BE: Committed to your process by continuing to walk by faith. If your journey started with faith, why not continue in faith? Your faith walk makes the difference in your journey and propels you forward. Your walk of
