About this ebook

The journey of a seeker can be divided into four major chapters- The withdrawal, the tunnel, the path and the surrender. The seeker first of all declares to himself that the way people are living is meaningless and withdraws from the society, then moves into a tunnel to escape from the chaos he is surrounded by, then chooses a path that provides his life with a meaning, a purpose and finally enters the dimension of Tao by surrendering to the divine will. There are thousands of ways of withdrawing, thousands of ways of escaping, thousands of paths to choose from – It all depends upon the soul's individuality and karma. But the basic pattern remains the same. God's compassion sets us up and makes no changes in the syllabus designed to set us free. With the least amount of pain and maximum learning, we are constantly moved to higher status of consciousness. The divine laws make sure we do not get stuck up anywhere. The flow of evolution is maintained and the journey romanticized with unpredicted twists and turns. So trust God, trust your intuition and just keep going.

    About The Author

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

I am deeply thankful to all the visible and invisible hands that have gone into the making of this book. Without their assistance and blessings I could not have done it. From the ones who inspired me to write to the one who has handed it to you, they all play a significant role in the manifestation of this work and have made it possible for me to reach out to you and share my being with you.

I am as grateful to those who have printed and distributed my work as I am to those who have earned for all of us the right to freedom of expression. There were days when it was not possible for an individual to speak the truth and share it with others. We are all very fortunate to be able to do so and should respect this freedom by not saying anything or writing anything that invades the space of others and hurts their sentiments. I therefore thank those who reviewed my work and provided me with a healthy feedback.

Even the tree, the wood of which the paper of this book is made from, deserves my thank you. We are all connected in a way that goes far beyond that which is obvious and we often fail to extend our gratitude to the silent existence that helps us realize our dreams. I thank everyone and everything responsible for all that I am and this book is a gift from me to mother-nature.

    INTRODUCTION

For almost two decades I have walked through life with a truckload of my past behind me. I dragged it along as if I had no other choice; as if that was all I could do with it- just drag it. But I kept on evolving. I did not get buried underneath it and reached a point where I could take an objective look at it. Equipped with the awareness I had earned along the way I asked myself, What was it exactly that was happening to me ? What was the science behind all that and what was the purpose of it all? My questions reached out to their answers and for the first time my life appeared before me in the form of a journey- The journey of a seeker.

What was a non-sense twenty years ago started making sense. What was a chaos automatically got organized in the light of whatever I knew. I found myself awake enough to put all the scattered pieces together and create out of them a beautiful perfection- God’s Perfection. The mud of confusion settled down and created space for crystal clear perception. The past that was an agony so far, became my most valuable source of insight into the laws of the universe.

I compared the pattern of my journey with that of others who had a similar quest and I could see the basic fabric that ran through all of them. It was as if we were students of the same university, studying for the same graduation, but having opted

for different subjects. There was freedom within discipline. The rules and regulations were universal while the approaches were unique. Our journeys were different from the rest of the world. The mass was just travelling while we were on a pilgrimage. The nature of our quest set us apart from the general lot. We were all seeking the same thing in different ways—The Truth—

Along the way, many a times I have wondered how far have I come, where exactly I am on the spiritual graph and what lies ahead. It was not that easy figuring this out. There
