How to Travel The World - Salvatore Cardillo
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this book. I have a down-to-earth approach and I hope that you'll have a laugh here and there throughout the information that I will share with you. This information is shared with you from a person who's actually been there. I've travelled half the world. And to be honest I hate travelling! I am an introvert by nature, and am happy in my little ‘man cave’ at home. So, if I can do it, then you can too.
I just hate sometimes the travelling process, because living mostly in Australia, to go to any country that's half decent, requires a lot of travel-time even if you were to travel within Australia, it's a huge country.
Life is short, the older you get, the faster time seems to go, hence the title, How to Travel the World: Before you are DEAD!
This book is not meant to be a travel guide per se, but a guide to give you practical and useful tips for your travel. There are some great travel guides out there, that specify individual countries or regions. See my links at the Appendix for more details.
I promise not to ramble on with my whole life story, like so many other travel books seem to do, but hopefully, will just ‘cut to the chase’.
I'm going to share with you throughout this book my motto of being prepared to the point of being even paranoid I dare say. I'm telling you this because I'm looking out for you...There are fantastic rewards to be gained by travelling the world and some risks too. I want to help you mitigate those risks and have the time of your life...
I want to approach this book as if you and I were having a conversation or you were interviewing me about my experiences of travelling the world. At this moment, I have even more world travel planned within Europe.
Let me encourage you, educate you, impart some wisdom, and help you to look after yourself and your family.
