Hana’S Journey to Love: The Letters 'I Love You'
Author

Azor Racine

I am the only girl and the last in a family of three children, I have been living in the city of the heat and orange for about six years and I am currently in school. I like red roses, anime, romance novel, strawberries, Indian film, foreign romantic drama and raining days, yet I don’t really like driving when it’s raining. I like peace and quiet to the point where it’s scary and not every word I say you will hear.

    Chapter I

‘WHEN OUR WORLD comes to an end, what would it be for you? Will you be happy? Will you be sad about it? In my life I know nothing about happiness, fairytales and such! I have known that I am not allowed to dream, yet I was dreaming a wonderful dream that day you open that door for me. That door was actually the door that was going to show me what it really means to be alive? You were going to show me the bad, good, believable, and unbelievable in a good or bad way, the beautiful, the ugly, and the super wonderful things about life. I see the world as people used to show me; in this world I had nothing and needed nothing to survive. Until I had you!’

    Hanaïsha, Hanaïsha!

She did not answer so the young girl continued to run to her yelling

    Did you hear?

She still didn’t answer so the girl look everywhere under the tree to find her, but couldn’t until something brush her face after a sudden chill pass by. She looks up the tree to see her friend, she assumed that Hana was sleeping over the tree’s branches, and then from the look of it she knew that Hana was not really at sleep, but just reading a book and didn’t want to answer her so she sat down near the root of the tree and sighed as if the world was about to end for her. She continue to make noise until Hana drop the book over her head and said

What do you need Alma, weren’t you supposed to be in class right now? Alma looked at her and gave her a very painful look, so she continued

"What! Did that idiotic boyfriend of yours do something to you again, like cheating on you maybe?

No way! Alma answered in a hurried ‘Suspicious’ Hana thought,

    Hum

Trust me on this Hana he values his life. I think he still fears you from the last time he made me cry.

I see, so! What exactly did you want to tell me that’s so important that you had to disturbed my reading?

It’s not really something important it’s just that I wanted to see you so I ran here.

    Really now?

    Yes really!

I see! But you just saw me Alma, about an hour ago! You are not with Elma so, are you still going to say that it’s not really something important you want to say to me?

Really Hana, it’s not that important so let’s forget it. More importantly what’s going on with you? You don’t look happy today.

Ah, It’s just that my favorite bracelet broke this morning.

Your bracelet? Which one? You are still wearing them as I can see.

Then look closely. She raised her hand up to her friend and Alma exalted

Oh my god! The bracelet he gave you broke.

Yes, it broke juts like that when I was in the library. Alma continued,

Oh my god, oh my god

Wait a second. First of all, you have something important to tell me, but try to hide it from me; second, my favorite bracelet broke, and then, I received a text message from the man you were supposed to have class with some minutes ago and now you are calling God so much that it’s scary so, what’s going on Alma?

Nothing really I was just surprise that’s it.

Alma! Are you trying to get me mad at you? Alma shivered

Now talk! Alma didn’t answered her

I see so you are going to play that game with me now ok, she came down the tree and said,

If you are not going to tell me; I’ll just go asked the man himself and that will take care of everything right.

    No! Alma yielded with furry

What? Hana answered surprise to hear Alma yelling at her.

Sorry, but he is in class now, so you should not go to see him you can talk to him tomorrow right?

You… ? Just as she was about to continued the sentence, her phone rang and it was him, she opened the phone and showed it to Alma and said

see, he is telling me to come to his car because he needs to take me somewhere to tell me something important; so you don’t need to worry I’ll know when I see him later. Hana was about to text him back when Alma snatched the phone from her hand and text

Sorry, I am a little busy tonight I’ll see you first thing tomorrow. Hana

What do you think you are doing? She snatched her phone back,

See now I can’t text him back he will think I am playing with him; after all I’ll go see him and he can give me a ride home, so you can take the car home with Elma ok. Alma ran in front of her, opened her arms, and said closing her eyes,

No, you really can’t see him now Hana. Hana didn’t give her an answer so she continued; it will be very bad if you go now.

    Why?

See you still can’t answer me so, you leave me no choice. She moved Alma’s arms and passed her to leave when Elma yelled, while walking to them. From the look of it she, unlike her sister went to class.

He is getting married. Hana turned with surprise

What? She looked at Alma and saw that she was not looking at her. She continued saying a little shaken up

Are you guys trying to be funny or are you trying to be mean?

Sorry! I didn’t want to ruin your day when you have a very important exam next. Alma answered

Sorry, sorry Hana we really don’t know what to say to you anymore. Hana stood there frozen

Hana, both of the yelled, Are you ok you should go home for today, we will tell the teacher for you so let’s go ok.

    No

    Hana

I am ok Elma don’t worry I need to go to class if I don’t go he will know that I know and that would ruin the fun right? She took her bag and the book she threw at Alma and started moving to go to class when she stop and said,

Just one thing I need to know. If he is getting marry and you guys are so secretive that mean he is getting marry to someone we know right? The girl didn’t answer so she said,

I see so that’s how things are!

    Hana we really are sorry!

"What’s wrong with you girls? It not like the world just ends ok! It just that my best friend is marrying the man I love. The man that I presented to her! Even though he knows that we are best friend
