A POEM FOR MY FAMILY
49397.pngLook in the mirror. What do you see? A handsome young man I used to be. I’ve aged very well as you can see. I have some gray hair, and I’ve gained some weight. Getting older is no debate. I have a beautiful young wife, and players hate. I’ve got great children who love their dad. When I’m away from them, I’m very sad. We talk on the phone and tell jokes that are funny, but when I’m on the road, I got to make that money. I love my family with all my heart and miss them dearly when we’re apart. This is from your husband and your children’s dad, so when you get this poem, try not to laugh too bad. (Smile.)
ABUSE—A BATTERING UNDER STRONG ENFORCEMENT
49399.pngHe rules his house with an iron fist. That’s what he always said until they found him burned in his bed. No one should have to be quiet or have to shut up because you got drunk from your favorite cup. A child should never be scared in his house. Big man you are. You’re a coward, a mouse. A woman should be treated like a queen with style and grace, not as your punching bag and punched in the face. There are many forms of abuse. You can be hit with a hand or talked to like dirt. No matter how it’s done, all abuse hurt. In a lesbian relationship where a woman portrays the man, if her woman steps out of line, she won’t hesitate to show her pimp hand. Hold up, ladies. Don’t think you’re the main victims because I’m not through. In this day and age women are abusive too. You tease with lust and sex and then close your legs tight. You dial 911 and dare him to fight. Please listen to the message I’m trying to tell before you end up dead or in a prison
