Karen Khaw is a communications and marketing professional with cross-industry exposure and zest for life. Born in Malaysia, Karen was brought up in Australia and now working while living in Hong Kong.With a natural ability to adapt and creatively-minded, Karen loves nurturing young talents especially in the areas of marketing, communication and employee engagement. Her first book is a testimony of one of her passions – demystifying the topic of employee engagement. Karen has over 15 years Asia Pacific experience in advising, leading and realizing marketing as well as communication programs in both financial and professional services. Having worked for Westpac and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Sydney, Karen moved to Hong Kong to join Baker & McKenzie in 2006. Having spent four years at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking as a Corporate Communications professional, Karen joined BNY Mellon in Hong Kong in 2011.
