About this ebook

Sacred Ground: Path to Recovery reveals the secrets of self-healing and managing chronic pain. Grand Master Yau explains that emotional and physical rejuvenation takes only minutes a day. The practices cultivate a calm mind and nervous system and develop internal strength, vitality, and grounded ease.
William C. Gough, co-founder of The Foundation of Mind Being Research says it this way:
Grand Master Greg Yau has developed a methodology for promoting health and body strength based upon the ancient techniques that give foundation to Shaolin Gong Fu. It uses the physical body as the foundation for connecting to the Universal Energy of the Absolute. This process for strengthening the body can provide a pathway for a person to reach enlightenment and represents the spiritual aspects of these ancient practices. The process involves working with not only the anatomy of the physical body, but with ones mind and energy body i.e. the subtle energy flows of the acupuncture and meridian systems.

    Dedication

    Grand Master Greg Yau:

The information contained in this book, that we are sharing with everyone, would not be possible without the teachings of my teachers. My Uncle, Chris Chan, changed my life when I first learned the Sui Lim Tao and the art of Wing Chun. That totally changed my outlook on what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.

Next, my uncle Stanly taught me the private lessons that he learned from Grand Master Yip Man. And his teachings, the knowledge changed and accelerated all the training in Wing Chun.

Then Dr. John S. Yi taught me healing. He gave me a second chance at life and I am forever grateful. He taught me the truth and everything that I know now about healing and Oriental medicine.

Of course, Wing Pon, who took me under his wings and introduced me to new science, vacuum physics and sacred geometry, the theory of everything. He helped me complete the whole program, the scientific part.

Then finally, student and teacher at the same time, Bill Gough who took me by my hand and taught me what science was all about and guided me and introduced me to everyone I needed to grow and learn. From my teachers is where all the knowledge comes from in this book.

    Christina Kook:

The information in this book changed my life and for this knowledge and the beauty of its application, I am forever grateful to Grand Master Greg Yau. Over the last years, Grandmaster Yau worked with me to open up the breath and realign my posture. He truly enabled me to discover my Sacred Ground and my Internal Strength. Over time Grand Master taught me to relax, realign and bring the life force energy inward. When the energy streams, there is no pain and the body mind is peaceful. Sessions with Grand Master Yau have brought me an experience of total relaxation and calmness. With each lesson comes a new practice and over time I learned to stream the energy and to predictably give myself an experience of a calm mind and a good feeling body. Thank you Grand Master Yau for sharing your life’s work and revealing the body’s innate ability to heal and revitalize.

    Epigraph

One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began, though the voices around you kept shouting their bad advice - though the whole house began to tremble and you felt the old tug at your ankles. Mend my life! each voice cried. But you didn’t stop. You knew what you had to do, though the wind pried with its stiff fingers at the very foundations, though their melancholy was terrible. It was already late enough, and a wild night and the road full of fallen branches and stones. But little by little, as you left their voices behind, the stars began to burn through the sheets of clouds, and there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own, that kept you company as you strode deeper and deeper into the world, determined to do the only thing you could do, determined to save the only life you could save. Sacred Ground: Tao to Recovery as taught by Grand Master Greg Yau

Describing Grandmaster Greg Yau’s (GM Yau) healing techniques is like dipping a cup into the river of his life’s work. GM Greg Yau began his career more than 35 years ago, training Wing Chun under his uncles Chris (US Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy www.uswingchun.com) and Stanley Chan, both Wing Chun [add appendix info link] Grandmasters. GM Yau chose to focus on the underlying spiritual basis and healing potential of the ancient arts, rather than fighting, pursuing Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and Qi Gong studies under the
