Dan Burgoyne

Dan is a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is situated on the western shores of Lake Superior. He has fished this area for over sixty years, being no stranger to the lakes and waterways of Northern Ontario. And except for wintering in Florida, he has no intention of ever leaving “God’s Country.” After taking an early retirement in 2002, Dan turned his forty years of knowledge in spinner bait production and use into a fulfilling pastime, which included classroom seminars and night-school courses and, eventually, resulted in the creation of this how-to book, Walleye & Northern Pike. Dan found great pleasure in teaching students of all ages the simplicity of making and using spinner baits and knows that the knowledge contained in Walleye & Northern Pike will bring them years of fun and excitement.
