As a preschool teacher, I learned the importance of helping children to realise the pleasure that reading can bring and therefore develop a love for reading . The stories I have written will also help children to develop positive thoughtfulness towards others and their needs, and will also take them on exciting adventures they will enjoy. I live in Paignton, Devon in the UK, but am originally from Zimbabwe. I then moved over to South Africa in 1987 until I settled in the UK on 2000. I have worked with children since 16 years old through Sunday school and eventually teaching preschool children, bar the last 3 years since moving to Paignton, but it remains my passion.

Early one morning, as Rylee lay fast asleep cuddled up in his lovely warm bed, he heard a very strange noise.

grrrrrrr…….Kee wee…… grrrrrrr……Kee wee

Rylee woke up with a fright!

Oh my goodness, he thought, his eyes wide open, whatever could that be!

He sat very still until everything was quiet, then he slowly slid back under his blankets, pulling them up over his nose. With his eyes still wide open, Rylee waited….
