About this ebook
Encyclopedia America (1956) volume 27, page 294L states: Christianity is derived from Judaism and Judaism was [and still is] strictly Unnitarion [believe in one God]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicaea was scarcely a straight one. 4th century Trinatairians did not reflect accurately early [original Bible] Christian teachings regarding the nature of God. Rather, it was a deviation from this teaching.
Neither Jesus nor his followers intended anything they said about their new revelation to contradict the credo. Constantine himself presided, actively guiding the discussion, and personally proposed the crucial formula expressing the relationship of Christ to God in the creed issued by the council, of one substance with the Father. Overawed by the emperor, the bishops, with two exceptions only, signed the creed, many of them much against their inclination.
Henry Chadwick writes in his book titled The Early Church: Constantine who was the chief architect of the doctrine of the Trinity was not a Christian. Constantine like his father, worshiped the sun; his conversion should not be interpreted as an inward experience of grace . . . It was a military matter.
Historian Will Durant says: Christianity did not destroy paganism, it adopted it.
At a Jesus seminar in America in 1993, it was concluded that 82% of the words ascribed to Jesus in the gospel were not actually spoken by him (Britannica, 12th edition, vol. 3, p. 643).
There you have it, from the pens of learned Christian scholars that the present Bible is the work of ordinary men and can never be divine. What additional proof could any intelligent person need to disqualify every Bible in existence as the word of God in any language! Can any sensible person argue with such irrefutable evidence?
Johannes J.D Villion
I am a South African and was brought up in ‘n Christian family in the eastern Highveld, I grew up on a farm. After finishing school at Middelburg I did my military service, after a few months I joined the permanent force, then after three years I resigned the P.F. but was back in the civil force an became a member of the reconnaissance force, I rendered service in various countries . During 1982, I divorced my first wife after 10 years of marriage, after I lost a part of my right hand. We had 3 children, 2 sons and 1 daughter, my eldest son was killed by a taxi in 2006. After 13 years alone, I married my second wife; she was a widow at that time with 5 children, 4 sons and 1 daughter. We were married for 15 years and then divorced after she left for New Zeeland. As a child I grew up in a Christian home, Christianity was all belief I knew but I always wondered, because it was difficult for me to believe in three different entities, and some of the stories in the Bible were too far-fetched for me. As a farm child I knew that bee’s would never make honey in a dead body of a lion because I know how bee’s behaved. Because I was always anxious to know the truth I started to study the Bible and various other religions in-depth for about six years. I learned to know the real truth about the Bible and Christianity. I then had to make a serious head shift about my religion, it was very difficult to make the head shift because I was brought up as a Christian, but by Grace of God I could do it, for now I know the real truth. I know that there are many Christians and other people walking around with doubt in their minds, because they don’t know the real truth, they don’t have real peace of mind. People who are searching for the truth, and who would like to know the truth. I did an in-depth study and this is what I learned about the Bible and Christianity. ----- It was a rude awakening! ----- I just want to ask you to be unbaits and to have an open mind. An unbaits mind will help us to realise the truth, for guidance from God almighty can only be embraced through the wealth of knowledge, wisdom and common sense. These are among God’s gifts. Why not use them? As a Believer I just feel that it is my duty to tell the real truth about the Bible and Christianity.

About The Author
IN THE NAME OF GOD THE MOST GRACIOUS THE MOST MERCIFUL
All praise is due to God the Lord of whatever exists. God has created all human beings with a sound mind and gave us a free will to make choices. Every human being can make a choice between right or wrong, the decision is yours.
We all grow up in different environments and certain ideas that were imprinted on our minds which influences our thoughts and decisions. Most people just blindly except and believe in the religion they grew up with, without asking questions.
PREJUDICED? DON’T BE,
For the moment let us rid ourselves of prejudices, and apply our natural understanding and common senses to the facts as we have them. An unbiased mind will help us to realise the truth, for guidance from God almighty can only be embraced through the wealth of knowledge, wisdom and common sense. These are among God’s gifts. Why not use them? Away with prejudice, for they indeed cloud one’s judgement. So let us then use these auspicious gifts of knowledge, wisdom and common sense and apply them to the scriptures.
But before we continue, allow me to explain, in brief, the meaning of Islam. This will help us to see the similarities found in both Islam and Christianity.
WHAT DOES ISLAM MEAN?
The word Islam mean: Peace among mankind and Peace between man and the Creator. (1) Submission to the will of God. i. e. Obedience to God’s teachings
We can therefore sum up that a Muslim is a person who out of his\her own volition, obeys and follows the teachings sent down by God which were explained and exemplified by his Prophets. (2)
All the messengers and prophets of God called towards submission to God’s will, (Islam) and this submission to God’s will does not only apply in synagogues, churches and mosques, but in all spheres of life, such as private, social, and political. Therefore submission to God’s will is the leading of a complete way of life. A life that leads to peace, love, unity and contentment-attributes that are lacking in the modern society.
MUHAMMED NOT THE FOUDER
Submission to God’s will, i.e. Islam, was not founded by Muhammed, or Jesus, neither Moses nor Abraham played a hand in founding it. Rather, all Messengers and Prophets that God sent since time immemorial came with but the same message; Submission to the will of God (Islam) through a few laws would change from one Prophet to another, but the main message has remained the same.
(1) If people follow the teachings of God, and implemented them, surely peace would reign on earth for the constitution of Allah (God) is supreme and all engulfing extending all spheres of human life.
(2) There were God-chosen men who were sent in different ages to their own people to explain to them in detail God’s law and commandments. Their main objective was to teach mankind the true worship of God and to keep away from the worship of Satan, for whatever is worshiped beside God, is Satanism. Be it a tree, a person, Idol etc.
THE TRUE RELIGION
Allah says: Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam, (Submission to His will). (Qur’an 3:19).
Does this statement have any similarity in the Bible? Let us see what James has to say: ‘So then submit yourselves to God (1), resist the devil and he will run away from you, come near God and he will come near you. Wash your hands, you sinners! Be sorrowful, cry, and weep; change your laughter into crying, and your joy into gloom! Humble your selves (obey Him, submit to His will, (become Muslims) before God and He will lift you up. (Not in heaven but in status). (James 4:7)(Emphasis and brackets are mine) The above is the meaning of the world Islam.
Islam (Submission to God’s will) is the religion that all Prophets of God taught. The example of this religion is that of a building which has five pillars. If one is broken, the whole building falls. The last messenger of God—Mohammed said: "Islam was built on five pillars: (1) to belief that none has the right to be worshiped except Allah (God) and believe that Mohammed is His last Messenger. (2)To establish Prayer. (3) To pay Charity to the poor and needy (Zakat). (4) To fast the holy month of Ramadan. (5) To perform the Pilgrimage to the house of Allah (ka’bah in Makah—Saudi Arabia) upon the one who has the capability.
(1)Submission to God means to be a Muslim. (1)This is the most important Pillar of all (Mark 12:28-29) this pillar should be given its share of study and not be neglected. This is very important in the Muslim world. (2) To pray five times a day according to the Prophets from the beginning of time. (3) Charity (Zakat), which is 2 and 1/2 % of one’s annual savings.
These are the pillars of Islam, but to understand them, an explanation is necessary, and since we did mention earlier that submission to God’s will (Islam) was the religion of all prophets and messengers of God, then the Pillars of Islam must have been taught and practiced by them.
THE FIRST PILLAR, FIRST SIMILARITY:
To believe or to bear witness that; none has the right to be worshipped except Allah (God). Meaning that God alone should be worshiped and nothing else.
The reason God sent messengers is that people diverted from the true worship of God and started worshipping other things like Stones, Mountains, and Angels, the Sun, the Moon, and human beings like Kings, Prophets, and Saints Etc. So God sent messengers to guide these misguided souls to the light of understanding the true object of worship Allah (God), and then they should keep away from Satan.
And verily, We have sent among every nation, a Messenger (proclaiming): Worship Allah alone and avoid all false deities
(Qur’an 16:36).
We understand from the above verse that God has sent Messengers in every nation. And that they taught people mainly two things: a—The worship of one God—Allah. b—The opposite of the worship of God which is the worship of anything besides Him, and that is the worship of Satan, other words called devil worship
or Satanism
, for whatever is worshipped beside God is inspired by Satan.
THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT
Jesus, the Messenger of God expressed this great Law in no uncertain terms, when he was asked: Which commandment is the most important of all? Jesus replied, "The most important one is this: Listen, Israel! The Lord our God is only one God.
To every nation
