“Surviving My Haunted Life”: True Life Stories of Ghostly Hauntings in Shreveport,La
()
About this ebook
Linda Mitchell Logan
Surviving My Haunted Life is a true story of coming face to face with evil spirits. Being told that ghost won't hurt you but they will make you hurt yourself, is not totally true. Come face to face with a spirit would scare you enough to run into a wall or fall down stairs then yeah, it would hurt, .I was not that lucky. I was a high fashion model, a supervisor at General Motors, and just enjoying life. It all came to a halt. I was enjoying my single life until I became the host to ghostly spirits some bad and some not so bad. I guess referring to one's self as a free spirit is a not a good thing. You open yourself up to evil as well as good spirits My pastor told me that. I repent for that because the price of being a free spirit is sometimes costly, atleast for me. In this book of true horror stories you will see that and hopefully learn from my painful demonic beatdowns. I hope that you will learn to survive your haunting if you find yourself unfortunate enough to be afraid to live in your own home. My family members went thru some things but I am still getting visits after moving three times, so I found out that people can be haunted, as well as locations can be haunted, Guess I am haunted but I have learned to deal.

DEDICATION
I would like to dedicate this book to my baby sister Deborah Ford who was found murdered in her home on August 31, 1984. She was an inspiration and reason for this book. I thank her for showing herself to me the way I remembered her while she was a live instead of the way she was left after her murder, stabbed, bloody and nearly beheaded. She showed up letting me know she is watching over me. She was very smart and lived a fast life but I thank her for the different and inspiring ways she touched my hair and spoke to me in spirit. My stepfather Charlie Ford was an inspiration as well and he helped shape who I am today. I love you guys always. I know in my heart that you are with God and together in the light of the Holy Spirit. I can’t leave out my momma she told us some great ghost stories growing up. We got scared but we thought they were just stories, we were wrong. Even though she think I am haunted because as she put it, If you follow the signs the signs will follow you
. Mu’Dear the ghost are following me so I must tell my story.
INTRODUCTION
I didn’t believe in spirits until I was about 12 years old; during the 1960s, my cousin who was also my closest friend, came over for a slumber party. We made our bed on bed sheets on the dining room floor to make room for the five of us girls, my three sisters, my cousin, and myself. After a night of drooling over Tom Jones and other fun stuff we went to sleep on the mat, three slept at the foot while my cousin and I slept at the head. I woke up in the middle of the night to see this gray and white puppy just floating across my sisters at the foot of the mat, I guess the same thing that woke me woke them up because we all saw this puppy and we knew it was a ghost because we could see through it.
We were knocking each other down trying to get to my parents bedroom. We all dived into bed on top of my parents and my parents were like, what in the hell is going on!
We were scared out of our minds. Daddy jumped up and searched the whole house but he never found anything, he even looked under the mattress of his and ma dear’s bed, he couldn’t find it because it floated out of the window daddy. We heard ghost stories growing up but we never obsessed. As an adult I never entertained the idea of ghost; My mother tells me each and every time I have a ghostly scare, if you follow signs the signs will follow you.
I was not following signs but the ghost were on my butt and even now I see things or feel a touch. I wonder if my mother was following signs when she had a ghost appear in her bedroom door way. I am only sharing the horror I have been thru but I am not afraid anymore as long as I don’t get hurt the way I did when I was under this on going demonic attack. SPIRITS GOOD AND EVIL EXIST AND I AM A SANE AND BOLD WITNESS!
We heard that ghost can’t hurt you but they can make you hurt yourself, I grew up believing that because of the logic behind it. I figured if a person saw a ghost the first thing is to run like hell knocking down anything that got in your way, it could hurt. I found out the hard way that ghost can hurt a person. I got hurt a few times by demonic beat downs. That is when I am horrified but just seeing something no longer bother me; but what you can’t see I know it can get physical, and you can’t fight back. I remember growing up getting these quick unexpected chills that would make you shiver and my grandparents and parents use to say, a rabbit just ran over your grave.
Now that I am grown I’m saying what grave? It is possible that at one time or another we have all felt a spirit go through us causing that quick shiver that comes over our body out of the blue.
I hate these skeptics who say that it is in a person’s mind and the scientists who feel it isn’t so because of some formulas that are not able to produce a ghost; hear this, everything is not black or white, you have to see it for yourself and stop thinking that those of us who were unfortunate enough to be frightened near death are sitting around dreaming up a slap in the face, or a spirit standing at the foot of your bed. Ghost are the farthest thing from your mind until the very first time you see one or get attacked by one. Don’t be so quick to insult or tell us we are seeing what we want to see; I can only hope that one day you skeptics and other none believers of the supernatural will have your own ghostly encounter and do tell that you were wrong.
I am telling this to let people know that I survived because of my faith in my Lord and Savior who rushed to my rescue when I needed him. Had it not been for the Lord I truly think I would not be sane, or worse alive to tell my stories.
I can only stress to those of you who have been attacked or may be in the future to (1) be prayed up and call on God in Jesus name and he’ll come right away; (2) keep your mind as calm as possible to avoid hurting yourself. (3) Pray during the attack to defeat your demon; (4) my pastor say that the demons hate and cringe at the MENTION OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS; (5) Speak with authority and belief when you speak to the attacker. This is how I survived my demons and spirits that haunted me, I got really angry and fed up and I was given help from above when I needed it the most.
I must mention that the italicized words above was mysteriously changed as I was typing and not by me. It changed as I was writing and that is the God’s honest truth. I swear on my beloved dead sister’s grave. My boyfriend and I only made a joke about it. I could be freaking out about something like this happening before my eyes but praise be to God I am not afraid of this second helping hand from a spirit while writing this book.
This was the second phenomenon while writing this. I have heard that demons don’t want to be found out or exposed but they are running wild in these last days. More folks are telling their stories because they are out in the world more than ever trying to capture all of the souls possible. It is evident that they are getting quite a few by all of the senseless killings and the hate that we see on a daily basis.
CHAPTER 1
I saw Deborah, my dead sister
It is Saturday morning around six o’clock a.m. and I roll over to get my remote control to watch some morning news; Oh my God! There she was, I
