- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Once an Atheist Forever a Christian by Frances Robinson is a short and inspiring true account of her life and conversion to Christianity. The author lived a hard life filled with violence, depression, and despair. Robinson writes like she's telling a friend her story. God uses her story to share His love and reach out to others and encourage them to believe also. It's a strong testimony of God's love and what He did in her life and what He can do in your life.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I don't typically read memoirs, but this one sounded interesting. While the story of the author's struggles through life and her discovery of her faith was certainly capable of being a compelling memoir, the book read more like an overview, or a summary. I didn't feel her pain or her joy.It was a short, quick read. Unfortunately, I was quite happy for it to end.

I don’t believe children are born with an established belief about God. Like adults they form their convictions from what they are taught or exposed to. Because we are born with a free will I believe each of us alone decides what our religious status will be or if it will be none at all.
This is a true story of how my childhood and other events influenced my decision to become an Atheist. I will show you when, as a teenager, my atheistic beliefs were born and how they caused my soul to die.
After I made that decision I believed that my own self-sufficiency was good enough for me. I didn’t need a God (and especially because I didn’t believe one existed) to help me manage my life.
About 15 years later, circumstances started to change and I was overwhelmed. Suddenly I was thrust into a place I
