Regardless of your circumstances, God has big plans for you today. He put dreams in your soul that, although buried, breathe; and He put ideas in your heart that, although they seem unattainable, are possible, with His guidance. We must not ignore Gods dreams, because they are His will, meaning they can and must be achieved.

Excuses, on the other hand, dont exist, rather they are illusions. We can construct them with many justifications so they seem real, but sooner or later they will bring sadnessExcuses mustnt replace your dreams; your mission must not be cut short.

HOW DO I USE THIS BOOK?

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3

T HESE DAYS, a great portion of humanity is looking for peace but, despite the many options available in the world, very few seem to find it. In this quote that dates some seven hundred years before Christ, the prophet shares the divine and eternal formula for being kept in complete peace: That our mind stays on Him .

But how can we keep our mind on Him without turning it into a purely intellectual effort? For example, can recited repetitions of memorized verses better our relationship with God? History shows us that this is what the religious people did when Jesus walked on this earth, and they were the ones who crucified Him.

Others went away to solitary places, far from the whole world, looking for peace in solitude and mysticism, but what can those who—on top of peace and a relationship with God—want a family, a good job, and friends? Jesus affirms that those who follow Him are not of this world but He himself sends them to the world.¹³ It seems then that His strategy was to fix the planet, instead of flee from it.

In the midst of such a complex and volatile world, I believe that the best way to live life is to go back to the basics, to the foundation. If we look closely, we will discover an intrinsic connection between the marvelous and the simple, between the glorious and the humble. It’s as if the extremely complex were built from the simple, like when we compare macrocosms with microcosms, or the solar system with an atom. Jesus Christ is the best example:

Omnipotent God, incarnate as a simple carpenter; the King of kings and Lord of lords, riding a donkey, the Teacher and Lord, washing the feet of His disciples…

In the same vein, this book has a very simple, practical purpose: A declaration of faith, out loud, from the title of the page, followed by a short meditation at the beginning and the end of the day, about a daily reading of no more than one minute, based on a biblical quote that is specifically selected for that day. I also invite you to write your own reflections in a personal notebook, such as three key words that you got out of the chosen verses for that day. And finally, read the short prayer at the end of that page, with faith. This simple exercise will allow you to begin a daily relationship with the Holy Spirit of God, because your meditation will continue during your daily activities and even while you rest at night. Day by day, your paradigms will be retaken and many strongholds and arguments will crumble. Your personality and character will begin to give way to the personality and character of God. You will begin to see the world, humanity, your loved ones and especially yourself, a little more the way that God sees you. Little by little, this Anointing will find a place in you and will begin to guide you to dare to go forward, to make the best decisions, to have a better attitude and to achieve the hidden dreams inside of you.
