Jennieke Janaki

Jennieke Janaki was born in the Netherlands. She traveled the world as a top model from 1984 to 1996. Jennieke took her first yoga class in 1989 in the Munich Sivananda Ashram. She recalls this experience as “a final homecoming.” She founded Sharanam Yoga in 2006, an Integral Sivananda Yoga to balance, purify, and heal. Its mission “healing through surrender.” Her book, Divine Sweetness, is an expression of her seeking for lasting love in the becoming One. In this book, Jennieke shares intimate photographs, poems and one of her watercolor drawings she made during her travels as a model, yogini, and mother.
