About this ebook

Wet

How Wet Is Wet?
If you are a duck in the lake,
Can the rain make your duck feet wetter?
When you are standing in the rain,
Does it matter if your feet are in a puddle?
If you are standing in the grace of God’s love,
Do you require more grace when the storm hits?

“Without mystery, your life is either too pat or has too many ragged edges.”

Author

Kathleen Furstnau

Kathleen Furstnau began writing poetry as a part of the grieving process for the sudden death of her husband. After sparingly sharing these poems, she was encouraged by many to share more broadly. She launched poem piecesTM her poetry on canvas business and beginning blog. Again sensing from others the need to continue sharing, she published a series of ebooks called the Moving Into: Poems to Ponder Series. She has worn many career hats and defined many roles as a current septuagenarian. Her life experience is found in the depth of insight found in these poems. Woven into the intent and verbiage of many of them is her deep faith in God. She treasures life and it is her aim to love at least one person well. She is a mom/stepmom to six and a delighted grandma to 8. She lives with her new husband in Auburn Hills MI.

Wisdom is the most important acquisition of life.

Living into Mystery requires an openness of heart

    -Kathleen Furstnau-

    Introduction:

Most deep questions reside in a place of Mystery. These paradoxes of life help us to humbly see our need for something outside ourselves – even if that is only other people and not God. Wisdom, that great tool of Mystery, is a puzzling and elusive quality. We desperately need it at a very young age and seem not to be able to fully acquire it until much later. People often try to hurry the process in others by trying to give it in the form of This is how you do it. NOT WELL RECEIVED! This is really just advice and usually from a stance of superiority, as in "I know better
