    Ive made many mistakes on my way to finding a loving relationship. After being disappointed over and over again, I began to pursue God. I never thought that God would desire a relationship with someone such as me. My past is a mess. What would God want with me? That is the conversation that too many of us entertain.
    Thoughts of that nature are not of God. God found me, nurtured me, loved me, and taught me how to love myself. God also showed me how my past, as terrible as it may have been, was not lived in vain. God wants me to take my past situations, circumstances, hurts, pains, problems, and messes and become transparent. I know that there is someone experiencing the same pains that almost killed me, and they may be wondering how they will get through. After choosing life, I did, and therefore, you can too.
    If you are sick, lonely, tired, hurting, addicted, abused, confused, brokenhearted, or looking for a way out, this book is for you. Sit back, get a cup of coffee, and open a Bible. Get ready to take the necessary steps to making the biggest choice you will ever make. Get ready to Choose Life!

    Sheurika Williams decided to write her debut book, Choose Life, after enduring many of life’s trials and tribulations and meeting Jesus in the midst of them. She is a self-proclaimed peacemaker. Having experienced a peace that only God can give during the whirlwind of life, she hopes that, by placing her life on paper, she can lead someone else to find that same peace. She was born and raised in Dixie Addition, a poverty-stricken neighborhood of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Her testimony is, by being surrounded by love from her family, she never knew that she was poor. Sheurika’s ministry is to the emotionally and relationally hurt and wounded—pain she is all too familiar with. Choose Life was her healing, and she is now whole in God, patiently waiting on her Boaz, which God will send if it is in his will.
