With a graduate degree in special education for early childhood, a dual bachelor degree in childhood education and students with disabilities, and a minor in English, the author enjoys the pleasure of writing as an expression of creativity and devotion to learning, and the love of reading. Reading and writing are an intricate part of life and a way to connect with others. As a special education teacher for students with autism, the author understands the value of expression and the ability to share thoughts with others as an important part of communication. And sharing experiences with others is what unites us together and signifies who we are as human beings. The author and her husband have three children. They reside in upstate New York in a place they call home with their three feline friends, and Fern, their trusting and loyal canine companion. Robin enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, art, and lifelong learning, particularly in the field of research of etiology and autism and related disabilities.
