Master Dominick A. Giacobbe known as the “MIND MASTER” is a true Grand Master of the 2,000 year old art of Tang Soo Do, Korean Karate. Internationally known as a Mind Master, Giacobbe has been viewed by millions on the “GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS” international TV show. He was labeled on the show and in the Guinness World’s Record Book as the “MIND WARRIOR”, for his amazing performance of Mind over Matter. He has performed his feats of Mind over Matter hundreds of times on numerous TV programs, in magazines and at live appearances. Grand Master Giacobbe, began his studies of Korean Karate in 1968 under Grand Master Jae Chul Shin, who is well known for teaching Karate movie star Chuck Norris. Master Giacobbe also received special training with Grand Master Chun Sik Kim, Grand Master Hyun Chul Hwang and Grand Master Ki Yun Yi. . In 1977 Master Giacobbe traveled to Korea to fine tune his Art and learned the ancient techniques of Mind Power, derived from the internal Chi energy. His skills in developing mind power through meditation and special breathing exercises has set him apart from all other Martial Artist. Master Giacobbe has appeared numerous times on TV demonstrating his unbelievable demonstrations of Tang Soo Do Mind Power, in which he pierces his arms with sharpened motorcycle spokes, hangs buckets of water and demonstrates this with no blood and no pain. Master Your Mind
The development of the mind all begins with establishing a strong and positive attitude. A strong attitude which will force you to believe in yourself, believe in your powers and believe in your abilities. Attitude is everything. A negative attitude will lead to a weak and unproductive mind and a positive strong attitude will open the door for a powerful and productive mind. To master your mind you must first develop a powerful attitude which will be your path to true Mind Power. I remember an old saying in my Martial Arts training, which always motivated me on my path to mind power. You must first conquer yourself before you can conquer your enemy
. What this means is that we must develop discipline, inner strength and determination of the mind to overcome our physical weaknesses. We must develop a strong attitude towards our self, an attitude of inner strength. By overcoming our self, which is the most difficult task for a human, we can then have the power to overcome our enemy. So we must develop a positive strong attitude for Mind Power. A saying which will help develop the proper attitude for a powerful mind is Be Strong, Never Give Up and Believe
. To be strong is to overcome all of our physical weaknesses and personal distractions. To never give up is to never be defeated by yourself or any other situation. Never retreat in battle and never be conquered. And the most important is to believe. Believe in your powers, believe in your strengths and believe you have a powerful mind. When you develop this attitude you will be on the path to true Mind Power.
The minds biggest distraction is our emotions. We must not allow our emotions to control our mind. Emotions such as anger, fear, jealousy, depression and sadness will distract the powerful mind and hamper the true development of mind power. If you think of the two this way it might give you a better understanding of the proper thought pattern for mind power. We should think of the mind as a Tiger, strong, aggressive, powerful, in control and fearless. We should think of our emotions as the Turtle, calm, peaceful, protected, comfortable and safe. When we think of our mind and emotions this way we will not be controlled by our emotions instead we will be controlled by our
