About this ebook
Please understand, this is not a book of theological or deep philosophical extraction of the meaning of life, or a higher debate on its intentions. I have endeavored to distill it down to a one-on-one equation. That is to say, you and your opponent. There are many ways in which to interpret Sun Tzu {R.I.P. c. 496 BC(traditional)}.

Sun Tzu, A Jing-Tao Approach To The Art of Winning - Lee E. Shilo
Introduction
Only after long contemplation, and at some insistence of those who know me, do I offer this book on my philosophy of winning. Now, after leaving the arena of a lifetime of learning and teaching Martial Arts, have I retired.
I have named Mr. Geoffrey Davis as my successor to the Jing-Tao Martial Art Style. I have also helped in creating, and developing a new Martial Art Style called Sun-Tao, with Mr. Michael Littrell.
I have produced many fine Black Belts of varying degrees over the years, and have had the pleasure of of teaching Police and Military. My Martial Art career has been full and satisfying, especially upon the completion of this book.
Forward
Please understand, this is not a book of theological or deep philosophical extraction of the meaning of life, or a higher debate on its intentions. I have endeavored to distill it down to a one-on-one equation. That is to say, you and your opponent. There are many ways in which to interpret Sun Tzu {R.I.P. c. 496 BC (traditional)}, this is mine.
Before reading on, please allow me to first explain that the views and interpretations are solely that of Jing-Tao Martial Arts, IE. 'me' (1969-2010).
The format is written in three alternative ways, depending on the verse(s) being examined.
1. One, will be a straight interpretation.
2. Two, a similar explanation with a Jing-Tao view will be offered.
Three, no interpretation, however, with a different point of view from the pages of Jing-Tao
Martial Arts.
The same may be said for Miyamoto Musahi (The Book O Five Rings), Carl Von Clausewitz, John Boyd and Friedrich Nietzsche. Most , if not all of these techniques, and philosophies can, and should be applied to business. Each will be examined in order, and commented on when applicable.
Producing A Leader
Jing-Tao
Do not confuse intelligence with Leadership, or the inverse.
Do not confuse a Leader with Leadership.
This is one reason why good Leaders should have intelligent advisers.
Intelligent advisers, advise proven Leaders.
Good Leadership can be learned, but not taught.
A mutual Mentor-ship, may produce a Leader.
A good Leader, Mentors one who shows promise. Thus, the cycle is complete.
Estimates
Jing-Tao
1. Winning should always be of great concern to the good fighter. Methods of fighting must be thoroughly studied. Harm, pain, and death should always be contemplated seriously.
2. The five fundamental factors may be compared with the seven elements later on. The five factors are moral influence, weather, rain, command, and the doctrine.
3. When a good fighter's body and mind are in harmony, and respond to the demands put upon it, it should not fail when in peril of their life.
4. Weather, and natural forces
