Author

Richard G. Hagstrom

Author Richard G. Hagstrom is a consultant, speaker, and writer.  He is originator and developer of the “Green Light Concept,” a unique and innovative way individuals can view themselves and others through the Green, Yellow, and Red signals of a traffic light.    Profit and not-for-profit organizations use the Concept while solving people problems, selecting and supervising people, developing training programs, and career planning.  Individuals use it to choose their life direction and right-for-them job opportunities that will best utilize their God-Given Strengths.     Hagstrom, from years of experience in organizational leadership and development and consulting work, draws on hundreds of real-life illustrations to tell you how to be at your best in your job life, home life, church life, student life, spiritual life, and relationships.    In 1976, he started Hagstrom Consulting, Inc. Prior to that, he served as a management consultant for an international research and consulting firm specializing in leadership development.  He has lectured on the Green Light Concept at conferences and seminars in the United States and abroad.  He holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut.   He and his wife Marion live in East Longmeadow, MA.  They have two grown children and five grandchildren.
