About this ebook
Thomas Kemp is a sixty-seven year old divorced man and the father of two grown sons, a daughter, and two lovely daughter-in-law's. He started writing poetry for his own enjoyment when he was nineteen years old and a Marine stationed in the Far East. When asked what compelled a young service man to write poetry he would say There was something inside of me that made me write every chance I got. I wrote on anything I could find in those days; napkins, coastersyou know, those ones made of papereven tablecloths.
Thomas finally sat down long enough to write his first novel starting in 1993 which he finished and published in 1996a book called The Road From Here To Where You Stay, a poetical thriller and love story woven within the murder plot of former President John F. Kennedy. Cleverly written to intrigue and seduce?Thomas, as Poet, clearly shows his ability to weave the violence of war and the murder of a president with cleverly placed poems and words whispered among the pages with loving grace and romance. Be enriched and enthralled and read the romantic words from a man who has become a familiar poet to many, who is today calledYOUR POET IS And POETRY I wrote FOR YOU

“Thomas T Kemp is still writing about his alter ego Thomas Camp. Who starting as a seventeen year old US Marine in Vietnam and was befriended by Bobby Kennedy while he served as Attorney General for his brother John F Kennedy President and Lyndon B Johnson Presidents of the United States of America.”

He said…
Too high for me to ever fly
Your mother Yelena and daddy Tom love you.
You would have been happy
You belong in my heart
Will I ever free myself from you?
Whispering night
There is a picture of a perfect nighttime in my room.
The lawn mowing is finished,
The gray morning came so early.
Shelter me,
Paint me with your snowflakes
On your days off is it hide-and-seek?
Is fate not sometimes wonderful?
Before the sun and first light
There are some things in life,
Come spring rain, come blow up against my trunk.
I stirred this morning and found my sleepers.
Now, do you remember
The intricacies of the weave go unnoticed by the fabric;
Dancing alone from April’s rainy days till December’s snow.
Did You know that you listen with your eyes,
Do you ever sense me?
Even in the rocky wide Grand Canyon
I was backed up against the wall by my own
From the dead silence,
Her beautiful eyes would not stop moving
High whispering wind come close, whisper to me about love.
How could I have misplaced my heart again?
Moving over the Atlantic Ocean
How was your Sunday?
I am looking for loves twin I think it’s you, looking all these years under every stone.
I am tired of crying,
There are some things in life,
I stopped trying to find you on autumn nights
If it is so dim,
In my mind I would always see her curls as pine cones,
Is fate not sometimes wonderful,
Let us forgive each other one more time.
Love has carried me two million miles these past years.
I am tired of crying,
This next section is from a novel I am writing I call it Chapter 15.
Maybe you would like a peek.
