Introduction

Draw me unto You Lord.

In the pages that follow

lies my legacy, which God has birthed within me.

That I now leave to you my children, as well as all of you,

the precious children of God.

Remembering 911

It was nine years ago today

when the hatred of man

attacked with terror from the sky,

For the many involved

in the events which would take place,

it begin as just another day.

A train ride to work,

while reflections of days past

filled their heads.

Taking the elevator to their respective floor

with newspaper and coffee in hand

they settle in at their desks for yet another day of work.

Then from out of nowhere,

the first strike came about,

and flames shot out

from the floors above.

Fearful of their lives being lost,

God’s children began to run.

Many headed for the stairways

while others, not knowing what to do,

jumped from the tower.

Within minutes the second strike came about.

Tower two was now struck by terror in the sky.

It was on this day that the devil,

whose prime objective was to steal, kill and destroy, (John 10:10)

had taken away the lives of many of God’s children.

As the twins which once stood so beautifully now lay in ruins.

While over three thousand lives

were lost,

Those who the Lord had led to safety,

truly began their new lives.

This being the testimony of the One True God,

whose ever saving mercy upon them,

had spared their lives.

Are you trying to find yourself?

Having a hard time,

knowing exactly why you are where you are?

You have so many questions

but can’t find the answers

no matter where you look.

You pick up the bottle

hoping that you can find the truth,

but all that you find is even more misery.

You run to get that next fix

thinking maybe it will be found there

in the midst of that hit

that you breathe in

or shot up into your vein.

But as you come down,

you find that you’re right back

where you were before

still lost and still seeking the truth.
