    PART ONE

    CHAPTERS 1-7

    1

    God or No God?

No human being on earth wouldn’t stop to ask themselves if there is a God.

There is a popular expression that says, It’s best to live as if there is a God than to die and find out that there is no God. Or vice versa: It’s best to live as if there is no God than to die and find out that there is a God. In the first part of the statement; you are bordering on eternal life or eternal damnation. In the second part, you are destined for hell. This dilemma is one of the reasons why the Almighty God scarcely reveals Himself to us. God makes us to ponder if He exists or not.

When things get particularly difficult for me, I will suppose that God doesn’t at the moment love me rather than claim that God doesn’t exist. There is no middle ground when it comes to believing in God. It’s either you believe in Him wholeheartedly or you don’t. And if you are in the camp that does believe in God, that belief should be doubtless. By and large, believing in God doesn’t come with doubt. The moment you doubt in your belief in God, you are doomed and you might as well live as if there is no God. If you are of the mindset of those who are just living their lives as if there is a God and die to find out that there is no God, it means there is some degree of indecision in your belief. You can fib to the world that you undeniably believe there is a God, but remember, you can’t deceive God. You can’t make it to heaven with the notion that you just want to live as if there is a God and die to find out there is no God, because your belief in God will be faint and feeble. You have to believe without second thought that God exists.

You have to put that belief into practice; it’s like hoping for something without practicing hope. God is practical; you have to put your belief in God into practice. You can’t give God the benefit of a doubt that you believe that He exists.

    Believe in the Invisible

Even though we see human beings physically, we don’t see their hearts. So if we can’t see God, let us compare that with the fact that we can’t see Man’s heart. The heart of Man is evil and corrupt; the heart of God is holy and righteous. Do you believe in a God that you can’t see? This shouldn’t even be a question. In the form of trials, tribulations, and struggles, Satan will try to make you revisit the question. Do you really believe in a God that you can’t see? If things get difficult, don’t ask yourself, Do I really believe in God? That will be a great sin committed. Ask yourself, Does God love me? And like Naomi who said God has testified against her, I take the Naomi stance when it seems apparent that God doesn’t love me.

    God Truly Exists

God’s existence eclipses my bodily existence on earth; God’s existence eclipses my loved ones’ bodily existence on earth. What I mean, is that I believe in the existence of God that I can’t see, more than I believe in the existence of Man, that I see daily. Stop pondering and questioning yourself about if God exists; just believe in God. It’s no mean feat. Millions of people are still mulling over if God exists or not. But remember, if you claim you believe in God, then you have to praise and worship His name. God is alive; God needs to be fed. He needs to be fed with worship songs. God is a living Being and there is nothing to contemplate about. The moment you start contemplating, you have floundered. You have turned back from the plough. Just like Lot’s wife, you have looked over your shoulder. And what did Jesus say about those that turned their back? No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:62). Lot’s wife exemplifies Jesus’ statement.

    Childhood Scars

    Mission Impossible; Revelation of Lucifer

Satan took one of my eyes and I am on a mission to fight with Lucifer, the Angel of Light.

It was revealed to me by my parents that Satan, in the spiritual world, wanted to take my life but Lucifer’s wishes weren’t negotiable. So the Devil opted for an offer of taking my younger brother’s life and one of my eyes. Satan first succeeded in the former when I was only about four years old. And in a few years’ time, Satan was successful in the latter. When I look at my face in the mirror, I see the face of Lucifer. If you break it, you own it. Half of my face, where my blind eye is located, is that of Lucifer and the other half of my face is that of me. Even with the blind eye, you could see the beautification of Lucifer. The significance of losing my right eye is that sitting at the right hand side of God, I would be able to see God. But if I had lost my left eye, I would be unable to see God.

The loss of my right eye is my childhood scar. And I will continue waging a jihad against the Devil until my mission on earth is completed.

    Anger Management

Two noticeable incidents led me to scrutinize the source of my anger. In doing so, I ascertained that the untimely death of my younger brother and my childhood scar were the sources that led to my anger, which needed to be significantly tamed.

    Curbing Anger: Incident One

Anger reared its ugly head when I almost severely injured one of my friend’s back in Calabar, Nigeria, in the early 90s. It was the hand of God that prevented my friend, Ofonmbuk Etuk, from being on the receiving end of a provoked kid with a knife in his hand. At the very last minute, my older brother, Malik, from out of nowhere intervened and knocked the knife out of my hand.

From then on I knew I had to curb my anger. After that experience, I rarely became ill-tempered but I knew within myself that once I am utterly provoked, all hell will definitely break loose.

    Curbing Anger: Incident Two

I successfully tamed my anger for about a decade. However, three years after the new millennium, all hell broke loose at Long Island, New York. I was aggravated by my relative, Chinazo Ihim. Bottled-up anger was brimming, and hence, a commotion occurred. The uproar peaked when I had to shoulder my way through a dozen people in order to confront Chinazo. Upon approaching my relative, my initial intent was to have a fist fight with him, and from out of nowhere I gave him a hug! With tears in my eyes, I said to him that I love him but I was going to depart his mother’s house for good. It was a helter-skelter scene where the cops were on the verge of being summoned. At the last minute, the Holy Spirit intervened and instantly changed my mind. My initial intention was evil, but God had the last laugh.

It was mind-boggling for those who witnessed how I fiercely fought my way through the crowd just to embrace Chinazo. Satan didn’t see the hug coming. I didn’t see the hug coming and neither did the crowd; only the Holy Ghost saw it coming. The Holy Ghost made me to beguile the Devil; a taste of Satan’s own medicine, boomeranged on him. Because of that turmoil, Satan can’t use that avenue to overcome me. Days after the dust settled, Chinazo did seek me out for an apology. He said, Nndy I can’t believe that you went through all that just to give me a hug.

Anger Successfully Managed and a Recapitulation

I was hospitalized for months when I lost my right eye and that brought sheer loneliness to me. That tragic event was the genesis of other tragedies that befell my life. I couldn’t fathom why God allowed Satan to deprive me of my eye.

I can’t recall what made me become apoplectic with Ofonmbuk; but I can recall my actions. Sometime in 2009, I stopped getting mad at what people do to me. Instead, I get incensed at myself for involving myself with the individual or individuals that made me get upset, petulant, and all bent out of shape in the first place. So my anger is not leveled at people but leveled at myself. And I will burden a punishment on myself. I have to even the score. My soul, spirit, and body must all be subjected to an equal punishment that I sanction on myself.

I didn’t need a third major incident to finally curb my anger and I’m glad that my anger has been managed at a young adult age. Now I choose and decide when to get angry.

    Lucifer’s Desires

    The Fallen Angel

Lucifer wanted his own kingdom and he got what he deserved but not what he desired. Lucifer, the first angel desired to be like God. He wanted parity with God. He wanted to be equal and as powerful as the Almighty God in heaven. Leading all the angels of God and being second fiddle to God wasn’t enough for him. God addressed Lucifer in Ezekiel 28:14, Thou art the anointed cherub [angel] that covereth; and I have set thee so; thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. Pride was the iniquity God found in Lucifer. Because of his pride, Lucifer was thrown to the dark side and he felt the darkness. As a result, Lucifer then made a vow to God that he would drag God’s most precious creatures (human beings) with him. And the rest is history. When we humans pray to God against the Devil for what he’s doing to us, the Devil also counters by petitioning before God our broken covenants that we made with God. We have to demonize the name of Lucifer and idolize and worship the name of the Almighty God. Satan knows what it was to be in heaven. He was there for thousands of years before he was thrown to the abyss and since he can’t be reinstated to heaven, he will do his level best to make sure we humans don’t make it to heaven.

God gives and takes life. Satan causes airplane and car accidents. He can do much in his arsenal to Man but Satan is deprived from taking one’s life. The Reaper can’t seize one’s life. God holds the key of who is next to die. The avenger of blood and the accusers of the brethren cannot condemn one to hell. It’s only God that decides when we die. But our actions on earth decides our destiny, whether heaven or hell.

    Satan Preached

The Devil believes that Jesus is the Son of God. Satan trembles before God, but that didn’t prevent him from trying to tempt Jesus. If Satan is abortive in tempting you face-to-face, Apostle Excel said, Satan will use someone you love the most to tempt you, especially the person that has just been given the revelation. An example of Excel’s statement is Matthew 16:22: Satan endeavored to use Peter, the closest disciple of Jesus to tempt Jesus.

God tests while Satan tempts. Satan is fake; he can’t disguise himself to be real and try to test us. So what happened when tempting met testing? Satan tempted Christ when Christ was sick, cold, and hungry. And yet Christ overcame him with the greatest of ease. Satan used the Scripture, the Word of God to tempt the Son of God. Satan quoted Psalm 91:11 for his second temptation before Jesus: For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Satan’s sermon wasn’t a voucher for Jesus. After two unsuccessful attempts, the straw that broke the camel’s back was when Satan proceeded to tempt Jesus Christ the third time. While tempting Jesus, Satan told Christ that Christ should suffer him to show Christ the beautiful things of this world; meanwhile isn’t the Almighty God in heaven the Creator of the world? And isn’t Christ the Son of God? Jesus responded with authority Get thee behind me Satan.

Sometimes the Devil tempts me and I laugh and say to myself: Is this what Satan has in store? Is this what Satan has in his arsenal? But I can’t take credit. Credit is due only to the Holy Ghost. He gets the credit for me overcoming Satan’s temptations.

    Manifested Hate

Human beings might utterly abhor me but that’s their concern, not mine. I can’t stomach hatred whatsoever for Man. I wouldn’t decry and disparage people for spewing hate against me. The more people hate me, the merrier I get. God loves me, so sinners must execrate me.

If I’m despised for telling the truth, then so be it. I wouldn’t put a gag on my mouth, and I would never artificially galvanize people to like me.

At my first week of work at downtown Brooklyn in 2004, I told my supervisor, If you hate me, you better hate me with a passion. I said so because I perceived that he abhorred me from the outset. I want to be the one to detect how much hatred one should have for me; and I would only settle for an unbridled hatred.

    Enemy, the Upshot of Hate

No human being is qualified to be an enemy of mine. My only enemy is Lucifer, that mighty rebel. Satan knew who I was right from my birth; he severely wanted to take my life. Since he couldn’t, he ended up taking my younger brother’s life as a ransom. He put ugliness on one side of my face because God took his beauty away from him. And he has fought with me my whole life.

    Enemy is Competition

Anthony Henderson said, Competition to me means an enemy. I’m not fighting a battle against human beings. Competition in life—whether physical, emotional, or social—to me means an enemy. I don’t compete with human beings; therefore no human being in this place we call Earth is my enemy. I just can’t envisage myself calling a fellow human being an enemy of mine. I refuse to degrade myself. So any human being that feels I consider them as an enemy better look themselves in the mirror and recognize that they are only mortals. And as such, death is imminent; unlike Satan, who’s an evil spirit and the one that begot sin.

Because I don’t compete, I don’t take advantage of people. Despite yearning for self-satisfaction, I have rebuked and condemned myself for being a liability to my loved ones. I have had the foul experiences of upsetting the applecart and hitting them where it hurts. But I have learned and deter from making history repeat itself.

Satan Has Nothing on Me and a Recapitulation

Satan has no part in me. I have sentenced Satan and his agents to death in my life. Jesus said in John 14:30, The prince of this world cometh and he hath nothing in me. Satan can’t win over my soul—not a snowball’s chance in hell. Because this world is so satanic and evil, I’m only living because of God’s plan for me. I would have killed myself if God was Man. Despite the fact that Christ was hungry during Satan’s series of temptations, Christ had Satan for breakfast.

It’s never on my radar to study who hates me. You can hate me from the onset until kingdom come; I would never alter the way I am. I live this life to worship God, not to worship Man. I can’t hate any human being in this world. I can’t hate what God created even though God created Lucifer; God said we should hate all forms of evil. But with evil comes phony, fakery, wickedness, etc., which are, sadly, solely characteristics of human beings.

I’m nonchalant if people consider me as an enemy to them. I can’t have enemies because nobody knows what I know. Even if I had an enemy, I wouldn’t wish them to go through my life’s struggles. Satan has been contending for my life since I was born. Lucifer, the father of all the sons of perdition, no longer has me for company.

    When Christ Died

    The Benefits of Christ’s Death

When Christ died, the veil of the temple was rent in two from top to bottom. God didn’t spare His own Son to die for His creatures, but death couldn’t hold His Son captive. One of my favorite songs reads, My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit praised His name. For death could not hold Him captive. Even in the grave, Jesus is Lord. When Christ died, sacrifices no longer had to be offered to atone for our sins. Christ rendered Himself as the last sacrifice in order for us to be saved. He emancipated us from sin. When Christ died, He went to the underworld to preach to the dead. Those three days of Christ’s time in the underworld were equivalent to the number of days Christ spent from His birth at Bethlehem to His crucifixion on Calvary.

It’s sad to know the Son of God was subjected to an excruciating death. Those that have had the opportunity to read the life and times of Christ, yet don’t believe that Christ is the son of God, are foolish fools. Christ died for their sins to be pardon and obliterated.

Christ died for us; He also lived for us. The most important event in life is death. Without Christ’s death, we would not be saved and grace wouldn’t abound. We are living because we are going to die. Are we going to die and go to heaven or are we going to die and go to the lake of fire? We have to use the time frame of living to worship God. Christ sacrificed His life on the altar of His love for sinners; Christ sacrificed His life on the altar of His mercy and grace for sinners; Christ sacrificed His life on the altar of His salvation for sinners.

    Die Without Instructions

Proverbs 5:23 notes that it’s best for us to die with instructions from God: He shall die without instructions; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. We die a free death if we die with instructions from God. Death is at hand; are you going to take your last breath with joy, knowing that you’ve completed your mission on earth?

What happens if you die without instructions from God in heaven? Anthony Henderson couldn’t go wrong in his remarks: How do you expect me to rest in peace when I wasn’t ready to die? Those are the ones that die with their folly. If the spirit of God is in you, you will assuredly rest in peace.

    Property of Death

We were created as property of God. Because of Adam and Eve, when we assume room temperature, we become property of death. And after our spirit and soul is summoned before our Maker, we either remain property of death and are sent to Hades, or we become property of life everlasting. While we are alive, while we still have our being, if we don’t worship the Most High God, we are property of death. However, if we give our lives to Christ, then we get transformed to property of God until the physical death.

    Die for What You Worship

I will die alone. I will die alongside Jesus Christ. If you live for God, you will die for God. Dying for God is dying for what God craved the most, and that is to worship and adore His Most High name. I don’t worship Man, so murder won’t be a portion of my life. The worst that Man can do is to kill. But what God can do is to kill and condemn one to the bottomless pit. Matthew 10:28 says, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Sticks and stones

(which is Man) can break bones, but sticks and stones cannot condemn one to hell. I will die praising God because that is who I worship.

When death comes, what do you want to be caught doing? I felt the tremor in New York when the 5.8 earthquake hit Virginia. And I was bliss because the earthquake caught me conducting my hourly prayers to God; albeit I had to cut short my prayers for fear of the building collapsing

When the wrath of Mother Nature is launched, what are you going to be doing? During the days of Noah, God was appalled by Man’s wickedness. In Genesis 6:5, God was grieved with Man because
