Leaving Woodstock by Walking Backwards: Poems I Forgot to Write
()
About this ebook
In C.J.s poetry (as with his other books) you will find music, along with sadness, healing, joy, comedy, erotica, melancholy, pain, love and inspiration. His poems embrace all those facets of human life that we share. C.J.s poems also have a way of drawing the reader in, a way in which the reader can identify with the author.
So settle down comfortably, put your feet up and read but dont stop there. In a few weeks time, or next year, read those poems again. You will find that they grow with each reading. Eventually, over time, sooner or later, in the long run, you will see them blossom and become even more beautiful and more meaningful.
I am sure they will move you as much as they do me.

C. J. Krieger
C. J. Krieger has had a varied life. In his sixty-five years his travels have taken him to an incredible number of places and accomplishments. Back in the late 60’s and early 70’s C. J. was a writer of spiritual music, music which is has touched many lives and still being played to this day! He has been elected five times to several Martial Arts Halls of Fame (Including the World Hall of Fame) and for his ability to instruct others and his contributions in furthering the knowledge of the Asian Fighting Arts. C.J.’s ability and expertise in the satellite communications field was called upon to design the original Satellite Television System for Camp David as well as help build WSTR-TV Channel 64 (Boston’s UHF Television System) and later the distribution system for Cablevision of Boston. For the last 32 years, C. J. has worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist, whose abilities have become celebrated. Where no one else has been able to help, C.J. has succeeded in bringing relief to those who have not been able to find it elsewhere. Time Out Magazine in New York City had called him one of the 5 best residential therapists in the city, and after moving to Woodstock New York, Hudson Valley Magazine called him the best therapist in the Hudson Valley! These days, aside from massage, C. J. writes poetry. And not “just” poetry, but the kind that reaches out and touches the reader’s heart. He has a knack of pulling you in and just when you think all is over, he manages to give the story a little twist that makes you want to smile or laugh or somehow touch us in a very special way. It’s funny, but as I am sitting here thinking about all that he has done, I wonder, what new venture he will be doing next?
