H. Murphy was born in South Carolina and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of 18. She was the eldest of 8 children composed of 5 girls and 3 boys. Though all of her brothers have passed on to the next life, her parents are still well at 92 years old! That makes their family run 5 living generations! Thanks be to God! She has been married for 44 years, has 1 husband and 2 adopted daughters. She presently has 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

I received a divine called from God into the Office of the ministry one Wednesday afternoon as I was sitting in my home. I had taken sick on that Monday at work, no pain, just sick, and weak in my body. I left work early to visit my Doctor at the Medical Center. I drove out the Inter-boro, as I reach over the bridge, heading towards Pennsylvania Avenue, I stop at the red light and went to sleep under the wheel, a man behind me blew his horn, and wake me up. I continued on my way to the Doctor’s office on Linden Blvd. I park my car walk upstairs to the reception area. By that time I was so weak I could not wait on line, I felt like I was going to faint, I ask the receptionist to bring my papers up stairs to the doctor’s office, She told me to come to the front of the line, then I went up stairs to the waiting room, sit down, and went to sleep until sometime that afternoon. The office was full of people, when I reach the office. Finally the doctor came out and touch me on the shoulder and ask me what was wrong. I looked around and all the people had left. I told the Doctor, I had an Infection in my throat The doctor took me into his office, He Examine me, and wrote me a couple of prescriptions for medication. Then I left the office and headed for home, praying all the way home.

As soon as I reach home I went to bed, my neighbor went to the drug store to have my prescription fill. I stayed in the bed from that Monday afternoon until that Wednesday morning I did not eat any food, I prayed my self to sleep, wake up and pray my self to sleep again . My husband went to work each day, and my adapted daughters went off to school, I was home alone, on that Wednesday morning, I said to the Holy Spirit, it is just you and me. My body was very weak, But I felt like I could fly. I walk to the front porch, and began to read from that morning until that afternoon. Then I heard a loud voice from Heaven saying.

GO AND TELL THE WORLD THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON
