About this ebook
Friends I was in hospital about a year in come but Jesus Christ Himself healed me.
Evangelist Leon Kabasele
Evangelist Leon Kabasele was born in DR Congo, formally Zaire. He says, “I felt terrible pain in my Christian life but God himself knows where he is taking me” (Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations”). “Qadash,” this means to consecrate, sanctify, prepare, dedicate, be hallowed, be holy, be sanctified, be separated. After many years, he became seriously ill. The doctors thought he was going to pass away, but Jesus Christ himself healed him. He says, “Many people left me in the hospital, but Jesus Christ my saviour never left me.”

Spiritual Development - Evangelist Leon Kabasele
Chapter 1
The Book of Romans
Paul introduces himself as a slave of Jesus Christ, which is a sign of humility before God. Out of the six Greek words for servant
used in the New Testament, Paul uses one of the most slavish terms possible. The word used in this passage is doulos, and it comes from the root word deo, which means bind
. So Paul is literally speaking of himself purchased by Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 6:19-20). The idea of being a love slave by choice comes from Old Testament passages such as Exodus 21:2-6 and Deuteronomy 15:12-17. If an Israelite bought a Hebrew slave, he must set him free in the seventh year. However, if the slave loved his master and said, I will not go away from thee,
then a hole was to be bored through the lobe of his ear, pronouncing him a bondslave forever. I am now going to introduce to you some of the seven outlines of the book of Romans.
Chapter 1a
Introduction to the Book of Romans
Consider this passage regarding Paul and the gospel: "Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. Through him and for his name’s sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. (Romans. 1:1-5)"
The Jews in Romans wanted the apostle to join them in Rome (Italy) because they heard about the apostle Paul and how Jesus Christ appeared to him and started serving Him with a pure heart.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.
(Romans 1:16-17) Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery (Gal. 5:1).
Apostle Paul’s faith was ventilated and stronger because of the revelation he had: he believed that God knew him from his mother’s womb. God knows us better than other people do. Somebody might say things about you and criticize you, but God, who knew and formed you before you were born, knows how to protect you and take care of you.
Let us talk a little bit about faith
. Faith links us to God. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. (Hebrews. 11:1-2) When we believe that everything was created by God and then when we pray to God, we have to believe that we have already received what we have been asking from God.
Chapter 1b
The Problem:
God’s Wrath against All of Humankind’s Unrighteousness
(Rom. 1:18-3:20)
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. (Rom 1:18) Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. (Rom. 3:20) The wrath of God in Hebrew language means AF
—touching someone on his or her nose. Imagine that you are out walking or shopping, or perhaps you are in your house or at work, and someone touches your nose. You might ask the person, Why did you do that?
Whenever we sin, it means that we touch God’s nose, and that His blessing cannot come upon us. The Bible says this in the book of Isaiah 59:1-2: Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. God loves the sinners, but He does not love sin. Friends, we need to stop sinning and know that even before we even pray, He knows everything we need.
Depraved Gentile society (Rom. 1:18-32): When people do not have Jesus Christ in them, they will be lost automatically, both spiritually and physically.
Critical moralizers (Rom. 2:1-16): The law: You should respect the law and know that you will also be judged by the law. For example, if you were told that you couldn’t eat a certain type of food and you ate it anyway, you could get sick or contract a certain disease. But whenever you come out from that principle by accepting the Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, this type of principle will not be able to apply to you. But if you are still principle, you will be also judged in that law or principle. It would also be much better if you prayed about everything your friends and families said against you; this might help you. All the laws and customs must bow down. In the book of 1 Samuel 17:49, it says: Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground. You have to live with Jesus Christ because He brook these laws for you to be happy. Make sure that when you tell people not to do something that you don’t do it yourself. Our alliance with God must be in our minds, spirits and hearts. So with all this, we’re all guilty before God, who is truth.
Dikaiosis means to justify
because of our trespasses. Because of our trespasses committed, justification is not satisfaction. We understand the sins, the evil things. We became just in front of God by the death of Christ. The death of our Lord Jesus opened our eyes and understanding of sins.
These are some parts of the answers of the book of the Romans chapter 2. (Rom. 3:9-20) What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. As it is written:
There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God… ."
