My third book, Christian Philosophy: Understanding Racial Oppression, discusses Christian philosophy and the ideology of colonisation. The book discusses many Christian issues, including creation and how this world functions, and reveals many top secrets. The book was written with my understanding of Christian philosophy in this modern time. The book does not reveal private secrets but exposes some important things.

This book, How to Pray: The 12 Top Secrets of Prayer and Concentration, can help in good prayer orientation. It develops the way that we think of prayer. I discuss the prayer in terms of concentration how people can start their prayers and how the prayers should end. In todays world, many issues need to be prayed about before making decisions. Sometimes people make decisions without consulting God, and many decisions and laws fail due to this bad orientation.

Evangelist Leon Kabasele

Evangelist Leon Kabasele was born in DR Congo, formally Zaire. He says, “I felt terrible pain in my Christian life but God himself knows where he is taking me” (Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations”). “Qadash,” this means to consecrate, sanctify, prepare, dedicate, be hallowed, be holy, be sanctified, be separated. After many years, he became seriously ill. The doctors thought he was going to pass away, but Jesus Christ himself healed him. He says, “Many people left me in the hospital, but Jesus Christ my saviour never left me.”

I am originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), but I currently live in London. I encourage you to read my book Jesus Christ Is My God. The book can help you understand that we are not alone in this world. I chose a reflection of the apostle Paul’s character because he was chosen by Jesus Christ to reach the gentiles. He also showed at many points just how powerful the gospel of Jesus Christ is. A Christian’s character must be always connected with a person who does well. Every Christian should be an imitation of Jesus Christ.

I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia but brought up in this city. Under Gamaliel, I was thoroughly trained in the law of our fathers and was just as zealous for God as any of you are today. (Acts 22: 3)

The apostle Paul was born in Tarsus of Cilicia, which was a city of the Roman Empire. His mother was Jewish, and his father was a Greek. He was also well educated. His calling was to evangelise to the gentiles, and he had to suffer when doing so (Acts 9: 1-24). This is how I feel he relates to me. After he was recovered, he started to minister to the gentiles. There was always suffering before I made a decision to serve God. I spent about nine months in a coma. Doctors, friends, and family thought I would pass away, but somebody appeared in my room. That person began to preach the word of God to me. Afterward, he touched my stomach and told me to tell nobody. After he disappeared, I made a decision to follow Jesus Christ. I was attracted to Paul’s character because he was the number one way to learn God’s word (Dunn 1998). Studying God gives more biblical knowledge and understanding than relying on somebody else’s principles. The apostle Paul’s faith was ventilated and stronger because of the revelation he had. He believed that God knew him from his mother’s womb. God knows me better than other people do. Somebody might say things about me and criticise me, but God, who knew and formed me before I was born, knows how to protect me and take care of me.

Paul was humble and persecuted in his life, yet he evangelised in many places. and this is what led me to be an evangelist. I believe that evangelism is reaching people where other gifts and ministries within a church cannot reach. A comprehensive definition of evangelism come out of the International Congress on World Evangelization (2001:410). Evangelism is about bringing people back to God, having them thinking of pleasing God. Paul’s spiritual life consisted of focusing on God’s word, including the day of judgment, when everybody will be in front of God; the love of Christ; the power of the gospel; and the commission of the Lord. Every time I share the word of God with people, they always say that I share about the repentance rather than other message

Leaving the next day, we reached Caesarea and stayed at the house of Philip the evangelist, one of the Seven (Acts 21: 8). But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. (2 Timothy 4: 5)

I was the first to tell Zion, ‘Look, here they are!’ I gave to Jerusalem a messenger of good tidings. (Isaiah 41: 27)

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers. (Ephesians 4: 11)

These Bible passages do not tell us that an evangelist is somebody who less than a pastor or other ecclesiastical member; an evangelist is a part of the ministry within the body of Christ. You might see three to four evangelists in one local church, and they consider them the beginners of the ministry. And sometimes there are no evangelists in a church. I was once invited to another country when a church saw the way I was ministering to the congregation and people were praising God.

My life changed when I started reading the book of Romans and understood all the Epistles of Paul. Many people call me Paul. I believe Jesus used the apostle Paul to reach the gentiles, people like us, but I have to stick with Jesus Christ because he is the Holy One of God. I want to talk a bit about evangelism in order for the reader to understand me and the books I wrote as an evangelist.

This book will help you grow in prayer life. If you don’t pray a lot or don’t know how to pray, I think this is the right book for you. Many people write about prayer but do not pray themselves. Some people talk about concentration but cannot be concentrated themselves, and this is what brings great confusion into some people’s lives.

When people participate with me in prayer intersession, they say that God uses me in prayer. And I have to say that I do know how to pray. The main thing about prayer is praising God. I wrote part of this book at the London’s Heathrow Airport while on my way to Cape Town, South Africa, to preach in the churches. Our lives today require prayer. I believe that every human being needs prayer to support himself both spiritually and physically. When we think of helping others, this is when prayer intercession generates within our minds. Some people might help physically, and some people might help in prayer from a distance, and this is why it is very important to pray. Religious faiths often use different methods of prayer. When I was writing this book, many ideas came to my mind about prayer. What I realised about prayer is that we do it voluntarily toward God to show our love and appreciation. This is why we as Christians need to volunteer to praise and worship God all the time. I see many people doing things that don’t seem voluntary; perhaps they do such things because relatives, friends, or colleagues are doing them. It is not necessarily a bad thing to copy but make sure you imitate the right person or the right thing. Later on in this book. I will speak about the fruits. We do not have to multiply the bad fruits in this world.

In this book, I use etymology skills to analyse many Biblical words in Greek and Hebrew. These two languages helped develop historical ideas. I wanted this book to show how to connect to God. God is spirit. Before he connect with a human being, that person must also be in spirit. God connects with us in many ways, but the main way is through prayer, especially when somebody is a prayerful person, for that person will be seeing things spiritually. When I fast and pray for a whole year, I always become more spiritual, more faithful to God himself, and believe in dying for Jesus Christ. In this opposite side of Satan, there is also prayer and fasting. People should consider this because Satan copies everything God does. He creates nothing because he is not a creator. I believe that only through prayer can somebody become stronger spiritually, for this world does not just function physically. Many things happen spiritually. I always say that politics and economics do not lead this world. This world is led by a spiritual system with principles. Before they start their daily work or journey, many people around the world listen to the radio or television, or to something that motivates them, instead of praying to God as others do every morning. Some people read magazines and newspapers every morning or night, but some people pray to God and read a Bible daily. This is why they are many religions in this world. People have different beliefs, and many of them contradict each other. If we look at the different things we concentrate on, we may not really know why we need them in our lives. Jesus Christ was always praying alone, a mysterious concentration as well as meditation. The secret place is always found through spiritual trusting. When you enter your secret place, the first thing that will come to your mind will be trust and confidence.

In my introduction, I will describe the book, for there are many surprises inside. Some things I discovered while doing research for this book even surprised me. This book is not for Christians only. It is for people of every religion; it is for politicians, historians, scientists, and those who want to know about Christianity (even if they do not want to hear the word of God). I planned for more than a year to write about prayer. Previously I was thinking about writing about concentration, but when I did my research, I discovered that concentration is also prayer, for when somebody is praying, he is concentrating. I discovered that without prayer, it would be very difficult to archive what somebody needs. Even the angels praise God.

I wanted to write this book to share what we mean by prayer. I consulted many prayer books from various religions and watched spiritual videos, and all this made me understand how others feel about prayer. Why do we need it in our lives? God can see what we need,
