Diary Of A Wimpy Noob - Nooby Lee

    Part 1: Jail-breaking With Friends

Iawoke to the sound of alarms wailing in the corridor.

Not again, I thought and looked groggily towards the door to my cell.

    It was open!

I sat upright in bed and looked out to the hall. If this was some sort of surprise inspection or a shakedown there would be police officers. The doors would NEVER be left open unattended! I got to my feet and walked slowly to the door, expecting some sort of a trap. I stuck my head out and peered left and then right.

    The halls were empty!

The blaring sirens were still crying out overhead, but apparently, I was the only one left to hear them. I wasn't sure what to make of the situation! Was it a trap? I had been locked up long enough in the Roblox City Prison to know that anything could happen. I walked out into the deserted hall. I knew that if an officer saw me out here like this I would be severely punished and probably beaten within an inch of my life. But who cares? I was already locked up, so things really couldn't get all that much worse!

I made my way to the end of my cell block, to where a large steel door kept those on my wing of the prison secluded from the rest of the jail. There were hundreds of inmates in the prison but we were carefully confined and herded like cattle to avoid large uprisings. Rarely did I see anyone from a different wing of the jail. I had expected the door to be shut, but I was open just as the cell doors were!

    This is getting really strange.

I stepped out of my cell block and into the warm evening air. The sound of the wailing sirens finally died away, but it was replaced by a new and equally surprising sound. It was the sound of conflict! Had there been an uprising in the prison? If so, I hadn't heard anything about it! I walked down the path towards the common area, staying in the lengthening evening shadows, to avoid being spotted by the officers. But there was still none to be seen!

I finally reached the last corner before entering the common area. I peeked my head around. In the center of the large open space, an all-out battle was being waged. It looked as though massive numbers of inmates had escaped, including those from the psych ward below the prison. They had gotten mixed up with some doctors, who were wearing lab coats of a similar color, resulting in mass chaos. It looked as if every police officer had joined in the fray too, leaving the prison totally unguarded. Somehow, someone had managed to open the doors of the cells and now it looked as if every prisoner had either joined the battle or attempted to
