    Entry #1: My Biggest Fear

    Iarrived in the bee swarm server on a hot and muggy day in June. Rachel, my friend, told me to meet her there. Apparently, it was a nice place to hangout on a warm summer day. Now don’t get me wrong, I love honey, but bees are another story. I’ve been terrified of bees ever since I can remember, but I didn’t have the heart to tell her this. I was terrified which probably added to all the sweating I was doing and my body was turning slightly numb. I looked around at all the bees buzzing around and tried not to faint. I took a deep breath and gave myself a pep talk. I guess it was time to face my fears. Once she arrived we did our secret handshake and talked about our day. I think she could tell I was scared because she mentioned how pale I was looking.

    Are you feeling okay? Rachel asked.

    I think maybe I ate some bad Chinese food or something. I said while rubbing my stomach.

    We can sit down in the shade for a while, she said as she pointed to a bright and vibrant apple tree.

    Once we found a nice cool place to sit underneath the tree, I watched as all of the bees followed their owners into the fields of flowers. I wondered if the bees had ever got mad at their owners and stung them.

    Honey bees are such cool creatures. Rachel said smiling. They always remind me of sunshine.

    I can totally see that. I said trying not to sound sarcastic.

    I can’t believe how many people are afraid of them. she said rather annoyed by the idea.

    I guess because they sting. I said.

    They won’t before you unless you bother them," she said in a matter of fact tone.

    All I’m saying is I can see why people don’t like them, I replied.
