Kirk Douglas?

He had heard the question many times before, he had also seen the derisive expressions.

Kirk Duggan, he rectified, So no, before you ask we're not related!

Although he didn't look that much different from the more famous Kirk, when he was much younger of course... Mr Duggan even had the same square jaw and cleft chin, not as pronounced, but still similar enough to raise a few eyebrows, maybe doubts that he wasn't possibly Michael's secret brother, or an illegitimate love child.

But Kirk was none of those things, born into an unexceptional middle class family on the outskirts of Crewe, the centre of Britain's railway network he knew that his mother had always been faithful to his factory manager father, and she'd never been anywhere near Hollywood. It was merely coincidence that he looked so similar, and it wasn't bad for business.

In his line of work people needed to trust, and trust came more easily if people sensed a familiarity, Kirk Douglas had always been famous for playing tough guys... and his clients wanted Mr Duggan to be tough and professional.

Except I'm not particularly tough he always chuckled, and his work wasn't as fraught and dangerous as many presumed.
