Moore  was born May 13, 1978 in Brooklyn, New York.  She came to Boston, Massachusetts at a very early age.  She attended Roxbury Community College in Boston, Massachusetts and received an associate's degree in Liberal Arts in 2005 then another associates degree in Biological Science in 2007. She attended Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health with a Concentration in Community Health Education in 2008.  Then, she attended Cambridge College and received a Masters of Education degree on June 13, 2010 in Counseling Psychology with a Concentration in Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling and Addiction Counseling. This is her first publication.
