About this ebook

This book is written to the thousands of Christians who may be living in a marriage that after having become a Christian find themselves living with a spouse that has not yet dedicated their lives to Christ. Your spouse has dedicated himself or herself to the Lord and have walked away from God finding themselves in a back slidden condition. Or, your spouse may have become a Christian, and after many years, lack of spiritual growth. Whatever the situation, as a wife of 40 years walking with Christ for nearly 21 years, I have experienced these situations some of early on in my own marriage. I have also experienced Gods faithfulness in divine deliverance. I can testify of Gods faithfulness to answer prayers. He saved my spouse, healed and totally renewed my marriage and He is still moving by His Spirit among the earth bringing deliverance, salvation and miracles to thousands who are believing Him to be set free in their marriages.

    -DEDICATION-

This book is dedicated first to my husband, children and my grandchildren. They are the catalyst in my life that keeps me creatively endeavoring to be the best that I can be. Above all, I honor God’s graciousness in allowing me to share the inspirations in this book with his people.

I want to also honor my mother, Mary Hill. The life lessons and inspiration you imparted to me throughout my life has hit their mark. I am today so much of what you worked hard to teach me. I am also proud of you for accomplishing so much during your lifetime.

Your commitment to design and found a head start and learning program that would help so many children get an education that their parents could not otherwise provide. Founded a beach in 1945 when you discovered that our military men of color were not allowed to swim in public beaches, after serving our country.

God used you to lobby to help soldiers of color gain access which was at that time denied. Which still stands today as a memorial that God loves people of all colors and nationalities. I am proud of you. May God bless you abundantly for your service in him.

To the rest of our friends and family. Blessings to you all.

    -INTRODUCTION-

Finally, awakened from a restless slumber, I look at the alarm clock and realize that I have been tossing and turning for many hours, it is now 4 a.m. in the morning. I get up and strongly feel God’s presence engulfing my mind and spirit. I feel a divine inspiration to write. As God spoke to my spirit, He revealed to me His divine purpose for the things He allowed me to go through so many long years ago. He began to let me know that He called me to write about many of my experiences because He would use this book as a vehicle to minister hope and inspiration to thousands of Christians everywhere that may be going through many similar trials, persecutions or other equally traumatic experiences. I have included several prayer requests from other Christians who have called and shared the trials of their marriages with me as they struggled to find answers to their dilemmas.

(Prayer Request) I don’t understand it, I’m trying so hard to serve the Lord. When I married my wife, I fell in love with her because she seemed to love the Lord also, she was always at the church, involved in the choir and other ministry as well but what I didn’t foresee was that her dedication and growth in the Lord would slow down or maybe stop. This situation has created a huge conflict in our relationship, it even seems as though her lack of interests in the things of God or even less in my doing the things God has called me to do, has caused her to become a hindrance and seemingly a weight. She hardly desires to come to church regularly any more, and she now constantly complains and pulls on me when I try to carry out my responsibilities at the church. I’m afraid we have become unequally yoked.

Here are a few more prayer requests that have been shared with me:

Many are also challenged in their very desire to hold on and to continue to walk with God. To those that may be feeling that their situation seems hopeless and giving up seems to be their only alternative, I speak with that voice of experience and say don’t give up, there is yet hope.

    Prayer Request Number One

"I need you to pray for me; my husband has been in a backslidden condition for many years now. He is and has been addicted to drugs for quite some time. He and I got back together last year, but now I find that he had been with another woman for a few years. Lord, but I trusted you, and I kept praying, and praying and praying and now he is back home. But you
